While we respect everyone’s right to leave a review, we’re disappointed that much of this review contains inaccurate and exaggerated claims that do not reflect the documented events of the stay. Our team went above and beyond leading up to your reservation and during the stay to resolve any concerns promptly when brought to our attention. For example, our maintenance technician responded immediately to the TV being out, the pilot light going out on the stovetop was due to the doors being left open by the guests. And blue feet from the pool is something we have never heard from any guest before or after, we have since had the pool completely drained and checked for any possible cause or evidence of blue residue and nothing was found. We even took videos of our maintenance person entering the pool in his swim suit walking all over the pool and then an immediately showed the bottom of his feet in the video. Shortly after the pool was drained and walked on . No blue. As far as anything to do with housekeeping or cleanliness, our cleaners have been employed by us for over a decade and based on every other guest review we have seen…the place is always immaculate. The pool heating fee is an optional amenity that is clearly disclosed before booking. We even advised and gave current water temperatures multiple times prior to check-in, reminding the guests that the choice is based on preference and depends entirely on the season/weather if heating will be necessary at all. We also want to clarify that we have never required a guest to leave a 5-star review or implied that a security deposit was contingent upon a positive review. All guests receive the same automated post-stay request asking for an honest review, whether positive or negative. Following the stay, the registered guest expressed that they were undecided about leaving a review and indicated that financial considerations would influence that decision. We believe reviews are most valuable when they are based solely on the guest’s actual experience rather than compensation or other factors. We strive to provide an exceptional experience for every guest and encourage anyone considering a stay with us to read the many reviews from guests who have enjoyed our homes over the years. If you can’t afford a house’s rate you should rent a cheaper house, instead of attempting to go to extreme lengths to make it more affordable.
