La cabane a été construite dans les années 1890 et surplombe le lac Canyon Ferry, à 17 miles de Helena, Montana. Il se trouve à 20 minutes en voiture de l'aéroport régional de Helena. Décor historique, avec des commodités modernes, 2 grandes douches, baignoire sur pieds, laveuse / sécheuse, cuisinière à gaz, micro-ondes. Trois chambres, 2 salles de bains, spectaculaire bains privée à l'étage maître. Grand lac et vue sur la montagne depuis le lit king size. Deux autres chambres très confortables, toutes deux avec des lits queen size, avec des vanités dans chaque chambre et une douche et des toilettes communes entre les deux. Pierre COOKHOUSE sur le pont avec la gamme de bois Monarch. Vraiment une merveilleuse vieille maison, magnifiquement restauré. Ce sera une expérience mémorable pour vous Montana. Nous avons même un couple d'histoires de fantômes pour vous! Cabin est meublée avec un œil au passé et votre confort à l'esprit. Comprend wifi. Cela a été notre retraite privée depuis 35 ans, et se sent comme une maison. Il ya de grandes terrasses bien aménagées. Nous pouvons également offrir un très charmant, studio cabine avec lit queen, petite kitchenette et grande salle de douche en pierre. Cela peut être loué en conjonction avec cette cabine et est parfait pour les clients qui veulent "s'échapper" et profiter d'une intimité supplémentaire. Canyon Lake Ferry est de 26 miles de long, sur la rivière Missouri. Marina Basin Yacht and Restaurant sont à 5 minutes à pied. Marina de Kim est à 3 miles (de location de bateaux disponibles). Idéalement situé avec disques faciles à Glacier National Park, Parc national de Yellowstone, et Lewis & Clark Caverns. S'il vous plaît noter que ceci est une maison non-fumeur. Est interdit de fumer sur les lieux. Ceci est une maison sans animaux. Autocaravanes, caravanes, tentes, etc. ne sont pas autorisés sur la propriété. Perfect home

We really enjoyed the grounds and the cabin itself. Only downside was no curtains on the upstairs window so that meant getting up with the sun. House was very clean and comfortable.

The cabin is incredible, very unique and Nice view. The response from both Jennifer and Cassie were great. The only thing I wish was better was the The internet, it was very intermittent. Overall a very good experience.

Wonderful time with family

We loved the history, the fun we had playing games with our family on the deck and in the yard. The views of the lake were beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Communication with our host was responsive in a very timely manner.

Stayed there in 2013 and now again in 2023! The cabin is truly a special place. The only downside was the 95 degree weather! Hope to get back before another ten years goes by!

Had an issue w a bat, but owners/property manager took care of it. Property manager (Cassie) was extremely nice and helpful. Always accommodating !!!! Hope she’s paid well, she deserves it!

Lakeside Memories

I found this listing when I was looking for somewhere unique to stay for my man's birthday and wow did I find it! When you walk in you feel like you truly step back in time. It is clear that this family owned cabin is lovingly cared for. The accommodations are extremely comfortable and clean and have all the amenities you could want. We spent 4 days fishing and came back each night to cook and relax on the deck with spectacular views of the lake. We ended our last night having dinner with friends and then a glass of wine in front of the fire. I absolutely could not have chosen a more perfect spot to make so many great memories!

Most Unique Stay EVER

This historic cabin has it all, charm, a killer view, comfort, and a great location. Our host was so accomodating and interesting. The cabin is furnished with some amazing antiques. We made great use of the wrap-around deck and huge BBQ grill. The cabin does not have AC, but we stayed in late July, and between a swamp cooler and many provided fans, it was comfortable. We saw an abundance of wildlife: friendly deer, chipmunks, birds and bats. We even got to watch a Hallmark Christmas movie being filmed on-site - it was so interesting. We were a group of 6 friends and highly recommend this cabin.

Amazing Experience

Excellent property that is right across the street from the lake and close enough to local eateries or 15 mins to Helena. We had the most relaxed and pleasurable experience. Woke up to a beautiful sunrise and the lake breeze. Highly recommend.

Montana Cabin

This is a great cozy cabin and exactly what you think a Montana cabin should be. The fireplace was beautiful and inviting, deer browsed in the yard, overall relaxing with a great claw-foot soaking tub. Heaven.

Beautiful Peaceful Cabin

We loved staying at this property because of its historical value and it being located right across the street from Canyon Ferry Lake. The view of the lake was gorgeous. My favorite things about this cabin is all of the antiques used in the interior and design. Nancy and Carroll did a fabulous job. It felt like we were experiencing history with modern amenities. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was nothing missing from this cabin. We hopefully will be able to visit again as this cabin is a true treasure.

A wonderful, relaxing getaway!

In the middle of a long road trip, this was the perfect place to refresh and reboot for us. We were charmed by the character of the cabin and were very comfortable, absolutely loved the setting on the lake and loved having the deer to watch almost every day. Nancy and Carroll were perfect hosts and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this experience.

A great property, great location with everything you need

We had a great time in this very old house (200yo!), A perfect way for us to start our journey in Montana, the charm is everywhere. Nancy and Carrol are very nice and ready to help whenever possible. Highly recommend, despite the couple of days of rain the lodge itself will be remembered as one of our highlights!!

Wonderful Relaxing Vacation!

My family of 5, including 3 teenagers, enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. The description of the cabin is just as described and fit us all perfectly. The outdoor living space and the location to the lake with amazing views is the selling point. We brought our outdoor movie screen and projector and watched movies on the deck every night while roasting S'mores in the firepit provided on the deck. We also enjoyed visits in our front yard by a family of deer. Directly across the street from the cabin is stairs leading to a small beach area on the lake. Depending on how high the water is will depend on if there is a beach area or not. When we were there, there was a small beach area. You did have to wade through a little shallow water to get to it but it wasn't bad at all. The water is cold but that is to be expected in MT and you get used to it. We enjoyed our stay so much and the communication with Nancy was fabulous. We had one issue while we were there but as soon as we told her about it it was addressed and resolved. We rented a boat for an afternoon as well as a canoe and paddle boards at Kim's Marina not far from the cabin and enjoyed that as well. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just want to relax and enjoy lake life.

We bought this home as a private get-away, and for family and friends, and are now opening it up to new friends through VRBO. Carroll is a native Montanan, and Nancy is a native by choice.

We never tire of the lake views, and watching all the activity, including all types of boating. Wildlife in the area adds to the Montana experience. The large river rock wood-burning fireplace is a real treat on cool evenings.
