Welcome to Southern Comfort, our luxurious two-story lakefront home in the highly desirable neighborhood of Enchanted Oaks on Cedar Creek Lake!
From the moment you drive up to this beautiful retreat, you and your family will be delighted in all that is available in this six-bedroom getaway including 2 master suites on the main floor. The chef’s kitchen is fully stocked with all the comforts of home and the space to have all your family and friends gathered while you prepare a vacation feast! Along with the entertainer’s kitchen, invite your guests up to the game room for an evening of pool and board games after a day on the lake. Finally, the house boasts six beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms for the ultimate escape and relaxing retreat after a long day of living the lake life.
As wonderful as the house is, you will gravitate outdoors and all the fun that it offers! The covered patio is ideally suited for outdoor living and entertaining. With a large dining tables for eating meals with the lake as a drop and an outdoor fireplace with a seating area and big screen television, you may not want to go inside at all during your
stay! And if that isn’t enough, the kids will love the small carnival rides also located on the patio.
The yard itself features a fire pit where every sunset should be enjoyed while gathered with family and making smores! This home also has two private docks! That’s right, double the fishing, double the swimming, for all your guests. You are also more than welcome to tie up your personal watercraft at the docks during your stay. With a neighborhood boat launch available for your use, this home has it all for your ideal

House was as good or better than the pictures in the listing. Very clean. Host was extremely responsive to questions pre-check-in. Kitchen was very well stocked. Loved that each room had their own restroom / shower. Group of friends for 30 years (7 guys left to their own for the weekend) that don't get together enough are talking about doing this every year.Note: none of the following were deal breakers by any means...- A couple of the chairs around firepit needed some maintenance as the arms were disconnected.- The light above the shower for the 2 twin bed room looked like it was dislodged or coming loose.- The bugs in the evening can be overwhelming, but being next to the lake in the spring, it happens.- Would have liked a crockpot for making queso, but now I am just whining to whine.Loved the place and as mentioned will be looking to return.

Family Outing

Family of 14 stayed three nights. Home was wonderful and perfect for our group. Can't say enough about the quality of house, furnishings, kitchen, baths and bedding. Just excellent. Outdoor space is huge, room for family games. Patio and furnishings out of a magazine. Beautifully landscaped. Two docks made for plenty of fishing opportunities. Again the construction of decking and lighting was first class. Just a wonderful place.Hope to stay there again.

Southern Comfort and then some!

The property is wonderful. Gorgeous sunsets over the water. Perfect getaway for a large group of friends, there were 12 of us and we each had our own private bedroom and bath. That's not easy to find especially on a place as awesome as this one. We had no issues whatsoever and we will be back!

We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning six-bedroom lake house! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how spacious, clean, and beautifully designed the home was. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to ensure comfort and relaxation.The house had everything we could possibly need — a fully equipped kitchen, cozy common spaces, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Each bedroom was spacious, quiet, and well-appointed.What truly set this place apart was the lake access and outdoor amenities. The views were breathtaking — perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets on the deck. We made full use of the grill. Whether we were swimming, fishing, or just relaxing by the water, the lake was the highlight of our trip.It’s the perfect place for large families, group getaways, or anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with luxury touches. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful Location

Overall, our stay was good, however, there were a few things that should be addressed. 1. On our first night, we turned the bed sheets down only to find the bed covered in black hair and dirt. It Looked like there had been a pet in the bed and the sheets were never washed. So even though we were tired from the travel day, we had to stay up late washing and drying the sheets before being able to retire for the evening. (I was shocked and even considered leaving as this is I consider unacceptable) 2. All toilets were grossly dirty—black and orange rings in them. 3. If the owner is going to restrict the use of the master closet, a chest or dresser should be provided to allow guests to put their belongings away. We had to leave our clothing in our bags on the floor. The hanging rack was useless because there were no hangers and provide no space for items not needing hung. 4. Also, the restricted use of the pantry was another inconvenience. We brought groceries for a large number of people only to have to pile them on the countertops which took up usable countertop space and made it difficult to prepare meals. I complain because nowhere on the listing did it say there was restricted access. Please let future guests know so they have the option to pay for a space that provides the room needed for a large number of guests. I think the home was nice but not as clean as I expected for the price, and the restricted use of closets/cabinets was a real downside.

We sincerely hope you enjoyed the large discount you received, as well as the complimentary firewood and extended access to the firepit. In response to the points you raised, we would have been happy to assist you during your stay if we had been made aware of any concerns during the multiple check-ins we conducted, as we live nearby. To help future renters, we want to address the items you mentioned: 1. The sheets have been professionally cleaned and changed after your visit. We found your comments about the black hair surprising, as you were the first guest to use that bed and the sheets. 2. The area does have hard water, and the rings you observed were caused by minerals in the water rather than dirt. We have now added a different cleaner to address these rings for future guests. 3. We have unlocked the large pantry and master bedroom closet for the convenience of future guests. We hope you have a wonderful holiday season! Best regards, Morgan
