Great cabin, very close to everything. Situated close to Gatlinburg and within 10 minutes to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. Fantastic views of the Gatlinburg valley below. Tons of room for the 4 of us with rooms and beds for all. The only constructive criticism is that the host went cheap on the linens and mattress'. This is an upscale stay for sure and could have been a premium stay with good towels, pillows, bed sheets, and mattress'. Regardless, we loved or stay and would do it again.

We’re so glad you enjoyed the cabin, the location, the views, and all the extra space—it sounds like it was a great fit for your group. We also appreciate you sharing your feedback regarding the bedding and towels. We certainly do not cut corners when it comes to linens, towels, or guest comfort, but we will absolutely review the inventory at this cabin to make sure there are not any older or worn items still in rotation that need to be replaced. We’re happy to hear that, overall, you loved your stay and would visit again. We’d be glad to welcome you back to the Smoky Mountains!

Helen's Amazing View

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. Our stay was short, so we were unable to fully enjoy all that the cabin had to offer. However, we would book this cabin again on a return visit. The only small issue is the driveway to the cabin, it is very steep and the turnaround is tight. But that is to be expected in the mountains. Also, the night view overlooking Gatlinburg is beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It was beautiful and we loved everything we wanted. The views were spectacular. The Host was very helpful and informative. The only thing we had concern with was the steep driveway. Coming from Michigan we were not used to such an incline to drive up to the house however once we got there the house was perfect. We definitely would recommend staying here.
Beautiful view from deck. We spent many hours on the deck enjoying the view,
Such a beautiful room to enjoy the view from.

Two great things about this home! Location is amazing with views that overload your senses and it is quiet, yet close to all activities. The home could be a vacation destination in its own right. Very well equiped, beautiful furnishings and great play equipment for the kids. The owner/manager communicated well and we had a wonderful experience.

Lovely place, but there were ants and dead and alive centipedes in the house. We called and they sent a pest control person right away to correct it. Be aware there is a family of bears that lives by the house so you can’t walk the property without bear spray. They come to inspect and touch the vehicles and porch and walk around the house during the day and night. If you have small kids i think it is not the safest situation. Also, the road leading to the house is very steep and has a hairpin turn that you must be careful with as there are no guardrails or fencing to prevent your car from going over the cliff. The driveway is hard to turn a vehicle like a minivan around, esp when you hear bears nearby. The view is outstanding however and the house is roomy and beautiful! Best suited for the brave and families with older and responsible kids who respect the dangers and beauty of bears.

We are glad to hear that you found the home lovely, roomy, and beautiful, and that you enjoyed the outstanding view and its tough to get such a poor rating for things that are disclosed or should be expected. This cabin is located in a rural mountain setting near the national park, and pest activity can increase at times, especially after heavy rain which happened during your stay. We appreciate you notifying us during your stay and are glad our team was able to have pest control respond right away to address the concern. Bear activity is common throughout the Smoky Mountains and is not specific to this property. While seeing bears can be part of the mountain experience, we always encourage guests to use caution, and closely supervise children when outdoors. The roads and driveways in the area can be steep and winding, as is common with mountain cabins. We note this in the cabin description.

Fantastic Rental

This Cabin was one of the cleanest Cabins my family and I have ever rented. It has beautiful views of the mountains as well as we as the lights of Gatlinburg. Great location with easy access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It has more than ample storage areas (walk in closet) very comfortable beds and furniture, wonderful Hot tub and beautiful landscaping. We will definitely come back.

Incredible views!

We loved our stay in this cabin! The highlights for us were the views, multiple decks, cleanliness and management communication. The beds were firm but comfortable. All of the appliances are new and higher end. The sunroom was the showstopper for this property. The views were fabulous day and night. The drive up was steep. We have a V8 4 wheel drive large SUV and made it up fine. Keep it in a lower gear and go slow. We were a party of 7 from age 12-67 and the space was perfect for us. We would absolutely stay here again!

Nice property, drive up horrendous!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin clean and very welcoming. Hot tub was fantastic, as well as the beautiful views of the Smokies. The downside is the drive up to the cabin. Hairpin turns, no guardrails, room for one vehicle. Lord help you if someone is coming down when you’re going up. We were lucky this never happened. I was nervous about this every time we left the house.

Lovely Cabin with Awesome Views

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a wonderful time staying in this cabin. The view is amazing, from both inside and out. We loved seeing the city lit up each night. It is located close to the Parkway, but in an area with less traffic and a grocery store and gas station nearby. The road up to the cabin is very steep and narrow. The driveway is also very steep. A large vehicle will have a hard time turning around. The furnishings were very comfortable and everything was very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this cabin.

Beautiful home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is an absolutely beautiful home. Conveniently close to Gatlinburg and an easy drive to Pigeon Forge. The driveway could be complicated in the snow so be prepared for that, but I feel manageable with right vehicle. Watch for the Bear Tracts rental sign so you don’t miss the drive, my GPS did take me to the road beside the cabin instead of the driveway. No issue we were still able to find the place upon arrival in the dark. Plenty of room for a large family. Only suggestion I would have is maybe another couch, sitting area on the bottom floor where the games and ping pong table are located. I had cell service while at the cabin and wifi seemed to work well on the TVs we used and my IPad. The views were beautiful!

Great house with an amazing view!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved this house! The view was 10/10! I loved the little sitting area and enjoyed my coffee there every morning! Not only were the views amazing but it is extremely close to town. It made getting in and out of the park very easy. Finally we loved the downstairs kids room. We had 4 kids ages 9-12 and they had a BLAST in that room. They slept in the bunk beds and played ping pong and arcade games. It really was nice for them to have an area big enough for them to play. We had a couple of small issues but the management team was very responsive. The road up from town is very scary. We were lucky that every time we came up or went down no one else was coming or going. I would have been terrified if we had to pass a car on that road. Overall I would highly recommend, just be prepared for the road up.

Beautiful Views, Responsive Management, But Some Comfort Concerns

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Helen's Amazing View had a lot of positives. The view really is incredible, especially from the deck — exactly what you'd want in a mountain getaway. The cabin was generally clean and the management team was very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. There were a few minor drawbacks, though. The driveway is extremely steep and narrow, which made getting in and out a bit stressful. Some amenities listed, like the fire pit, were no longer available, which was disappointing since it was still shown in the photos. The mattresses weren’t very comfortable, and the upper bunk bed had a rough wooden railing that seemed like it could cause splinters — not ideal for kids.Overall, we had a great time, but a few updates and more accurate descriptions would go a long way in making the experience even better.

January 2025 “Stay”

I’m sorry to leave only one star for each category but my husband and I could not locate the property at all! Therefore, we were unable to stay. We called and a gentleman gave us directions but we STILL could not locate the house number or any sort of indicator. Not only this, the roads leading to the location are unbelievably dangerous - especially for large vehicles. These roads have no railing, can only allow one vehicle at a time, and have no lighting!! My daughter so scared that she was in tears as we searched for this property. Honestly, my husband and I as well as our other two children in the car started to feel the same. I feel the property description should include a warning about the roads and encourage potential guests to use a small or at most a mid-size vehicle when staying here (if they can find it). I cannot imagine trying to drive these roads after cold rain/ice and snow. Unfortunately, I have to give this place one star because of this very disappointing experience.
