Villa familiale moderne entièrement équipée de 5 chambres avec piscine pour 10 personnes

Villa moderne proche de Narbonne, des montagnes noires, du canal du midi et d'une plage de sable. Nichée dans des jardins paysagers matures, la maison est en bordure du village de Marcorignan. Une vue imprenable sur la campagne environnante offre un cadre de vacances tranquille. La maison peut accueillir 10 personnes confortablement plus 2 bébés et dispose de nombreuses installations familiales pour assurer un séjour confortable. 4 chambres doubles, 1 chambre avec un lit gigogne, 2 salles de bains (1 ensuite) et 2 toilettes séparées. Cuisine entièrement équipée, grand coin salon, salle de jeux avec de nombreux jouets, TV et lecteur DVD avec DVD, livres et jeux pour enfants. Il y a une sélection de vélos (10), grand trampoline (avec filet de sécurité), basket-ball, équipement de gymnastique, y compris vélo elliptique et multi-gym, tennis de table et baby-foot. La piscine de 10m x 5m est équipée d'une alarme de sécurité. Une grande terrasse ouverte (avec une section couverte) offre le coin salon idéal pour manger en plein air avec un barbecue intégré.

We had an excellent stay in this superb villa in the south of France. The house is spacious, welcoming, and very well designed for everyday use. Book without hesitation!

Brilliant villa with outstanding views

We absolutely loved this property. Easy to find and very clean. The property is huge with many bedrooms and bathrooms and worked really well for the 7 of us (two children and 5 x adults). The kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped and we were all very comfortable here. In terms of location - it’s brilliant. Secluded but not isolated and close to Narbonne and Beziers with local shops and supermarkets within 10 mins of the property. Beaches can be found 25 mins from the property. Pool is spotless and well maintained. This is one of the best properties we have stayed in from VRBO and communication with owner and housekeeper was excellent. Could not recommended more!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful !

We spent a week with our sons and their children (12 persons altogether). The house is well equipped for that many people: rooms, towels, kitchen ware, etc. The swimming pool is superb and the view from the terrace magnificent. The building is well constructed and windows are soundproofed. Not that neighbors would have been a problem but the cicadas (cigales). Fortunately they stopped their concert with the evening.

Traumhaus in Traumlage

Ein Urlaub mit allem was das Herz begehrt - ein tolles, sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus mit viel Platz für die ganze Familie, großem Pool, Spielmöglichkeiten, Ruhe und viel Natur außen herum. Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Wir haben jede Minute dort genossen.

Wunderschönes Haus in traumhafter Lage

Wir haben 2 wunderbare Wochen in Marcorignan verbracht. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und betreut. Das Haus ist fantastisch und hervorragend ausgestattet. Die Aussicht vom Pool ist einfach traumhaft. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Fantastic Place!

This was our 2nd time at the Villa. You cannot top the view from the pool. Absolutely stunning. The Villa itself is very highly equipped and has a lovely modern kitchen and air conditioning in the bedrooms. Hope to return again in a couple of years. Thank you Phil and Jill from the Anstruther/ Geekie families.

Leuk vakantie huis met perfect zwembad en uitzicht

De vermelding van 3 badkamers klopt niet. Wij zochten een woning met minimaal 3 badkamers dus als de als de informatie juist geweest zou zijn, 2 badkamers, zou dit huis geen optie zijn. Het was behelpen met 2 badkamers. Bij aankomst werden wij onthaald door 2 heren die in en sneltreinvaart het een en ander uitlegde en ons wees op een aantal zaken die defect waren en we niet moesten gebruiken (o.a de beide garagedeuren, dus sporten in afgesloten ruimte !!). Buitenverlichting voorzijde defect dus 's nachts met iPhone verlichting naar de auto's. Het pad naar het huis, bij het toegangshek heb ik met grind een paar diepe kuilen opgehoogd want de onderkant van de auto raakte de grond. Bij aankomst hing er in het huis een hele vieze geur alsof het huis maanden dichtgezeten had. Na drie dagen luchten was dit over. De badkamers (2!) en slaapkamers waren in orde. Alleen bij één douche werd geadviseerd om een handdoek neer te leggen omdat de douchevloer niet echt goed af loopt. De keuken was ronduit smerig. Verschrikkelijk veel vliegen, restanten van etenswaren (koffieprut in apparaat), vieze aanrecht en vloer. Een aantal achtergebleven voedingswaren zwaar over de houdbaarheidsdatum. Het serviesgoed en borden zaten plakkerig aan elkaar vast en hebben we dus eerst afgewassen. In de woonkamer op veel plaatsen spinrag. In de smerige garage staan de fitness toestellen. Deze waren op zich goed maar omdat ook hier de smerige lucht hing en de deuren niet open konden om te luchten was sporten geen pretje. Het "buiten gebeuren" is in principe heel ruim. Alleen wij waren met 10 personen en 8 eettafel stoelen waren bruikbaar. Eén stoel valt vanzelf uit elkaar, één stoel is getracht te repareren maar is niet echt gelukt. De twee bankjes vallen uit bijna uit elkaar en waren niet bruikbaar. De tuin heeft wat achterstallig onderhoud. Het licht in het zwembad, die we eerst niet mochten gebruiken, is halverwege de week gerepareerd. Verder om en in het zwembad heel veel (sluip) wespen ! Na alle irritaties en ergenissen van bovenstaand, en ik zal heus nog wel wat vergeten zijn te melden, hebben we een aardige vakantie gehad. Dat lag meer aan het gezelschap dan aan de huisvesting. Rest nog te vermelden dat we veelvuldig contact hadden met de eigenaar maar die kan er op afstand (Engeland) ook weinig aan veranderen.

We are firstly very sorry to hear that our guests did not enjoy their stay in our home as we have previously only ever received extremely positive reviews from our other visitors and we had several communications with them to try and resolve their concerns. Some maintenance issues were apparent and we and our House Managers did endeavour to rectify them as soon as they were bought to our attention but our guests declined our offer for them to visit the property to do so. With regard to some of the other comments, we respond as follows. 1. We did supply detailed floor plans of the house showing the numbers of bathrooms and WC’s before arrival but are grateful that the inconsistency on the HA listing was highlighted - we will clarify this immediately. 2. Whilst one of the garage doors is not operating as it should, it could still be opened. The second garage door was fully operational and nothing prevented this or the windows in the garage from opening to provide ample ventilation. The faulty door will be in fully working order by next season. 3. I am afraid that our local House Managers completely refute the comments about the cleaning and I can only assume that, at the very least, these may have been exaggerated. We take pride in our home. If small items or areas were, on this occasion, missed, we apologise. We requested photographic evidence of in particular the kitchen to support their complaint, unfortunately to no avail, which we would have then discussed with our team and addressed accordingly. Over the course of the last ten years renting our home we have never received any complaint whatsoever in this regard.

A relaxing family retreat

This well-equipped villa is very spacious with plenty to do for families with young children or teenagers. The pool and sunbathing area is wonderful with plenty of sun loungers to dot around the side. It is in a peaceful location with great views yet the village with its bakery and other local amenities is a few minutes drive away or a short stroll. The supermarket is ten minutes away. There is a mini gym, bikes, plenty of DVDs and toys for the kids. We have now visited twice. The first time we were happy to soak up the sun and not venture far but on our return we visited more of the area including the canal, local vineyards, Narbonne and the beach. Carcassone is an hour's drive away and is a great day trip and for the more adventurous is a peak over the Spanish border. High standard of fixtures and fittings make it a welcoming place to stay and it is very clean.

A Tranquil Paradise

We have visited this property twice in recent years and each time we have loved it. The views, the peacefulness, the space all contribute to a wonderful holiday. The villa is extremely child-friendly, equipped for children from a very young age right through to teenagers with bikes, games equipment, an extensive DVD library, a trampoline and of course, a wonderful pool, all set in beautiful gardens. The village of Marcorignan is relatively small, a pleasant stroll away, with a boulangerie and epicerie. The larger supermarkets are within 10 minutes drive. Narbonne is a bustling french town with a great square with cafes and restaurants, boutiques and the canal. It has an interesting food market. The beaches are another 20 minutes drive away. As the previous review notes, the best feature of this property is the terrace where evenings spent sampling produce from the local vineyards and eating from the barbeque are a holiday delight.

spacious villa with lovely pool

We really enjoyed our week in Marcorignan. The pool and terrace are the best features of this modern and comfortable villa, and they overlook a very pretty view of the vineyards. The bedrooms are not big, and could use a little more attention (such as bedside tables and reading lamps), but the kitchen is very well-equipped, the living room is very spacious and comfortable, and the gardens are pretty and well-maintained. There are lots of outdoor things for active children - the pool, the basketball hoop, the enclosed trampoline, bikes, and exerecise machines. The playroom with its art things and DVDs was a real bonus. There are two supermarkets very near by, and two bakeries in in the village. We particularly enjoyed renting an electric boat in Le Somail and going down the Canal du Midi. Overall, a house maintained to a high standard with an exceptional pool and view.
