Sunburn Alley is new to our rental program. 4 bedroom beachfront located on the family friendly, quiet end of the beach - you're literally steps from the surf and sand!


Primary Bedroom (King), Bedroom 2 (Queen), Bedroom 3 (Queen, 1 Twin/Twin Bunk), Bedroom 4 (2 sets Twin/Twin Bunks) Bathroom 1 (Tub/Shower Combo), Bathroom 2 (Shower).

SUMMER SEASON ARRIVAL DAYS ARE MONDAY or FRIDAY AND DEPARTURE DAYS ARE SUNDAY or THURSDAY. (Depending on reservations already set in place) For alternate arrival and departure days, please contact our office.

Perfect location! Love how the house is set up with a primary bedroombunk room on each side of the house with the living areas in the center. Great for families!

We recently stayed at Sunburn Alley and overall had a great trip despite the unusually rainy May weather. The ocean views from both upstairs and downstairs were beautiful, and the sunrise over Bolivar was incredible as always. Since it rained most of the stay, we spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony listening to the waves.The beds were extremely comfortable, the A/C worked great, and the kitchen was very well stocked. A crockpot would be a nice addition for longer stays or fishing groups. The yard was nicely maintained with very few goat heads/stickers, which was appreciated for both dogs and bare feet. The mowed beach pathway was also a huge plus.A few things could use some attention. Some outlets didn’t work and the light switches were a little confusing. Downstairs electrical access for charging golf carts or boats would be helpful. Parking is somewhat limited on the dead-end road, and the parking area became muddy after rain.A few balcony chairs felt unstable and could use reinforcement or replacement, and there were some nails starting to pop up on the decking. We also saw a few small roaches during our stay, which can happen near the coast.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider booking again. With a few small maintenance updates, this place could easily be an even better beach getaway.

Location was everything, few issues with inside but not terrible all in all great cabin. Had to wear shoes on deck are you would get splinters. We brought our grankids & we had the best time!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the location most! Wish we could've parked under the cabin since it was raining. One of the bathroom sinks drained extremely slow. Those were not necessarily deal breakers. Things happen. We enjoyed our stay.

This was our first time on the Bolivar Peninsula. Check in/Check out with the realty company was smooth and fast. Around 5 minutes.Location of the house is spectacular! Literally steps from the beach with a great unobstructed view. The house itself was good. We loved the layout where the 4 bedrooms were on each corner and the community area (Living Room, Kitchen, and Dining Room) were in the middle and very open. The beds were comfortable. The house has adequate plates, cups, utensils, pots, pans, etc. It did have a countertop icemaker, but it was not working. It would make a few ice cubes and then quit. There was a 4 slot toaster in the kitchen, but only two of the slots worked. We just bought ice at the store.We loved this was a pet friendly house. I brought sofa covers for both of the sofa's because they are navy in color and I have dogs that are white. I did have a few concerns with the house. Not all the outlets in the kitchen worked even after resetting the GFI plugs. I had to move counter top appliances around to find the 1 plug that worked. The deck was solid, but could use some maintenance. Some of the nails are coming out of the deck and we had to wear shoes to make sure our feet were protected. Nothing a good hammering wouldn't fix. Some of the furniture on the deck needed repair. Along with some of the chairs in the dining area as screws were loose and the chairs were unstable. Nothing a screw driver couldn't fix.We really enjoyed our stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall was a great time! Plenty of dishes! We have never stayed this far down on the beach and was worried about it but it ended up being perfect for us! It was quiet and didn’t have to worry about cars squeezing in beside you especially when we had kids with us! The only negatives: The bathroom sink really needs to be fixed! It’s disgusting! It takes hours to drain! We had to use the kitchen sink or the other bathroom to wash our hands or brush our teeth! Every room should have a TV!! There is only one master and the living room that have a TV. Definitely, not a deal breaker but would have been nice to have one for the kids. The pantry/closest needs to be cleaned or organized so you can use it for your food. We said the shelf in one of the rooms to put our food on it because the pantry had too much in it to store food in it! Every room also should have some type of chest of drawers, 2 of them have no where to put your clothes except to hang them. One closest still has the owners clothes in it. And the chest of drawers in there also has blankets in it so we had to remove them to store some of our clothes. The kids room we had to keep their clothes in their suit case! This seems like a lot but it was still a great stay! Just something’s to try and change to make it a better rental!
