Beautiful home, fabulous layout of bedrooms with access to bathrooms. Spectacular location with beach on one side and intracoastal waterway on the other. Inside gated West End, so beaches were not crowded. Unfortunately a potential 5star property except that poor attention to a lot of details, that could be fixed easily. When arrived at 4 for check in, cleaners were still there, they were lovely and stayed until nearly 5:30, but floors were still sandy and lots of crumbs and dirt under furniture. Apparently previous renters âhad left a messâ. Pool furniture in complete disarray and trash on the dunes along the boardwalk. All trash cans overflowing as they had not been put out for pickup. Stove malfunctioned, but quick response from maintenance. The only tv that we ever got to work was in the main living room. Maintenance had to replace breaker in sitting room on second floor to get power to it, but still unable to get tvs to work, told that we needed a code from the owners. None of the remotes had batteries, we replaced them but still could not get tvs to work. Not all pots would work on the stove. Pool lights did not work and several spotlights were out. It would have been extremely helpful to have a booklet explaining how electronics worked (what tv streaming app had a subscription, to save renters time from trying them all) and to better label all the light, fan, switches etc.- including that there was a switch that had to be turned on to make the dishwasher work.
