We visit the Clarksville area frequently and this Vrbo property was in a great spot. The house itself is spacious, clean overall, and comfortably laid out for a group or family stay. That said, a few relatively inexpensive upgrades would make this place much more enjoyable and bring us back without hesitation.The biggest issue was the mattresses. Every bed we used sagged badly in the middleâyou literally sank in and had to âclimbâ out each morning. After a few nights, our backs were feeling it. New, supportive mattresses would make a world of difference.The bathrooms also need some attention:âą The provided toilet paper was extremely thinâcomparable to what youâd find at a low-end gas station. Itâs a small thing, but stocking decent 2-ply TP would go a long way.âą There were no facial tissues in any of the bathrooms.âą No bar soap or body wash was provided for the showers.âą The shower curtain had stains, and the plastic clips/rings holding it up felt flimsy and barely did the job.Other minor but noticeable items:âą Towels were mismatched, frayed, and showing their age. A fresh, matching set would feel more welcoming.âą The closets had no hangers at all, so we lived out of suitcases.âą bathroom light bulb needed changingThese are all fairly basic amenities that most guests have come to expect in a rental. This could easily be a 5-star repeat stay for us. As it stands, weâd only consider returning if those improvements are made.
