Please note: This home is one side of a single-level duplex house with both sides available separately or booked together for larger groups. There is one shared wall, two separate entrances in each side and two separate driveways with ample parking. This unit is on the right side of the duplex, when facing it from the street. It's the first driveway, without the carport.
Step inside this cozy, calm space that has been newly remodeled for your enjoymentâA well-appointed 2 bd 1 ba in a single-level duplex with a peaceful, country setting, centrally located to many attractions. I-40 is just a short drive around the corner, but far enough you wonât hear freeway noise. Turkey Creek shopping area is just a quick 25 min away and Downtown Knoxville is a 35 min drive. Local shopping is super convenient, with a Food City just 5-10 minutes down the road. Long-term stays are welcome and the space is well-equipped to be your home away from home.
The Space:
Two Bedrooms:
There is a comfy hybrid king bed in one room and two comfy hybrid twin beds plus twin rollout trundle in the second bedroom. Each room has closet space and the king has a desk/workspace area. There are smart TVs in each, as well. The twin room has an AC unit and both rooms have ceiling fans. Both bedrooms offer comfy linens and extra pillows/blankets.
One Bathroom:
The full bath has a tub/shower combo with plenty of hot water and great water pressure. We offer plush towels and bath wash, shampoo and conditioner for your convenience. We do provide some toilet paper and if youâre staying longer, you may need additional supply.
Kitchen:
Weâve been told this is one of the most well-stocked kitchens, and is especially great for our guests who plan to stay a while. Coffee lovers will enjoy our Ninja coffee maker that offers single serve (K-cup), or carafe brewed, with several options including iced coffee! There is also a French press and tea kettle. Youâll find all that you need to make a home cooked meal. There is a small dining nook, with seating for four. We do provide some paper towels, and if youâre staying longer, you may need additional supply. There are some dishwasher pods to get you started, as well.
Laundry:
Youâll have full complimentary access to our newer washer/dryer with a small amount of detergent to get you started. If you're sensitive to detergents, or have a specific preference, we suggest packing your own, or picking some up at the local grocer down the road.
Living Room:
This space is set up to be a comfy, functional area for guests to relax. There is a large sectional, plus a side chair with ottoman. Weâve also provided additional seating with a workspace table behind the couch. This room offers a 50â Samsung smart TV with gaming hub capability. Just pack along your Xbox controllers and you can sign into your account and game to your heartâs content!
Entire place is for guest use, with exception of one bathroom storage closet and kitchen laundry cabinet for host supplies. We ask that guests respect the locked spaces, please.

Located in a safe, quiet, residential neighborhood with a country setting, and close to everything.
There is plenty of parking in the long single-file drivewayâplease donât drive on the lawn.
Please note that biweekly housekeeping is required for stays over 14 days, at an additional fee of $75 per cleaning needed. This includes linen service, and light housekeeping. We request that guests clear surfaces and sinks to allow for cleaning.
-Garbage must be placed in the proper receptacles
-Trash collection is Mondays and we ask that guests please walk the can to end of driveway for curb pickup if their stay falls on a Sunday night
-No additional guests allowed without written permission from hosts and guests of all ages must be disclosed at booking
-Pet waste must be collected and disposed of immediately
-Pets are not to be left unattended inside the home unless crated, and shouldn't be left outside if guests aren't home
-Access for yard/pest care must be granted when needed (weekly mowing of front and backyard, etc.)
-Summer: Thermostat is to be set no lower than 75 degrees when house is unoccupied and all doors should be locked, windows secured with all shades drawn when house is unoccupied
-Summer: Thermostat is to be set no lower than 70 degrees at any given time while occupied
-Winter: Thermostat is to be set at 65 degrees when unoccupied, and never left completely off
-Winter: Thermostat is to be set no higher than 74 when house is occupied
-Maximum of 3 cars to be parked on premises unless authorized by hosts prior to reservation
-Cars are to be parked in carport (if applicable) and driveway, never on lawn
-No parties or large gatherings allowed on premises
-Absolutely NO SMOKING is allowed inside the unit and guests who leave evidence of having smoked inside will be charged an additional $350 cleaning fee
