The Retro Roost was perfect for our week over Christmas. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The living room / kitchen area was a nice large space with a vaulted ceiling, which made it feel even larger. The location was convenient to downtown and US 73/74. We will definitely stay here again.

Very nice

We loved our stay here. The property was beautiful and comfortable, with a very homey feel. Our favorite part was the little coffee bar with flavored creamers and syrups. The next time we visit the zoo, the roost will be first on our lists of places to stay!

I loved my stay here! The house was so cozy and had everything I needed. The kitchen nook and coffee station were such nice touches, and the dĂ©cor made it feel so comfortable. My favorite part was definitely the shower. I actually looked forward to it every night! The owners were very quick and polite in their communication, which made everything smooth and easy. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone.

We had an excellent stay at this rental. The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The space was thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed including snacks, towels, coffee pods, and other home supplies making it feel welcoming and relaxing. Fantastic getaway!

This is one of the cleanest rental’s we’ve ever stayed in. We really like everything about the apartment. The little extras like water in the fridge and snacks on the counter were awesome. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for something in the Asheboro area.

Weekend in Asheboor

We spent two nights in Asheboro to visit family. This apartment was perfect: comfortable, clean, well decorated, affordable. The location is also super convenient to downtown. This is a much better option for visiting Asheborothan any hotel in the area.

From the moment we opened the door and walked into The Retro Roost we were in awe. From the well-appointed decor and furnishings, to the thoughtful functionality it was evident that Madison cared about her guest’s comfort and experience.Before fully settling in for our stay, we took pause to relish in all of the exquisiteness of the abode. Like kids in a candy store, we walked room to room and admired the artwork, the furniture, the small touches that made a big impact, and all that The Retro Roost offered.For the three days of our trip, we knew that we had indeed found a true home away from home. The Retro Roost offered the perfect respite for rest and relaxation during our stay.

Clean and comfortable

The home was immaculate and comfortable. We had two couples, and it was great for each of us to have our own bedroom and bath. We didn’t do any cooking there, but the kitchen seemed well stocked with what you would need to prepare meals. We came in late at night and we appreciated the lighted stairs.
