Great little spot, everything you need is there quiet location but easy acces to highway. Between Cody and Yellowstone. Spent 2 days in Cody and 3 days in Yellowstone with me and my two kids.
This was our second time staying at the Remington. It is the perfect little cabin for our family. Conveniently located close enough to Cody for all of our needs, and also close enough to Yellowstone/Grand Tetons to allow for many adventures. The direct surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, it is quiet, and the hosts are great communicators and took care of all of our needs.
Beautiful views, every direction. Cabin clean well stocked. We stayed 4 nights. The hospitality of the owners was beyond words. Riley, the lab, checked up on us every night at 6pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the remington
My family of 4 stayed at the Remington and absolutely loved it! Great location and spectacular views. Would definitely stay again if we have the opportunity!!
everything was great---views were wonderful---kitchen could use some more pans---but overall great place to stay---close to yellowstone and cody---you wont go wrong
Our stay was great. Having a full kitchen was nice as we were able to make dinner and relax after a day in Yellowstone! We also appreciated that we were able to bring our 2 dogs with.
The cabin was super comfortable, the setting is fully Old West, and the hosts (including Riley) are welcoming and friendly. The morning views are special. Hope to visit again someday.
We enjoyed staying at the Remington. It was a great home base for us to explore Yellowstone. With mountains all around the surroundings are amazing. Also got to meet the hosts dog Riley who was very sweet.
My husband and I really enjoyed Remington. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and the views .. absolutely amazing! We definitely recommend this property and hope to stay there again!
Wonderful location near Yellowstone at this very relaxing and comfortable accommodation. The hosts are always available for help or just questions. This was our 2nd stay here in 8 years. We will be back!
My family of 5 stayed for 6 nights. We divided our time between Cody and Yellowstone so this was a perfect location. When we first pulled up, my kids were worried about the size of the cabin but once inside there was ample space. We cooked dinner several evenings and had everything we needed.
The view from outside the door is amazing. We only made breakfast there, usually we were out exploring the area at dinner time. The bed is okay, may need to be replaced soon, it dips in the center. Overall it was okay.
We arrived after dark, but found the cabin with no problem. It worked great for our needs - not too far into the wilderness given that we were arriving late, and an easy drive into Yellowstone in the morning. Communications with the hosts were quick, clear and easy. And we definitely wouldnât have minded having more time to explore the area around the property. The views we woke up to were fantastic.
Pros: I agree that the views are spectacular! Also, the inside of the cabin is very nice with comfortable beds, TV and other appliances. Inside, the cabin was clean and comfortable. The owners we friendly and checked in on us twice. Pets are allowed, which is a huge plus for some of us. Cons: The cabin is a (nicely) remodeled portion of a barn, so there is a small corral for cows and pigs on the back wall. The animals are stinky and they bang on the gate sometimes, which is surprising in the wee hours. Also, don't count on wireless internet access, as the signal is very weak. I do think the rate is a bit high for this property.
The house/cabin location and property looked like a junk yard. The BBQ grill had not been cleaned and would not start. The house itself was clean other than the years old fries in the broiler pan and the dishes that had not been washed. I'll blame myself as the price was low and you get what you pay for. The heat, shower, and bed were good and the access to Cody, Yellowstone and the Beartooths made the stay worth any shortcomings.
I was born and raised in Cody, Wy and grew up on a cattle ranch. We currently are in the restaurant and lodging business. My wife and I have 3 children ages 20,17, and 13. We enjoy meeting new people and entertaining.
Only 300 yards off the main highway gives you the flexability to fully use our cabin as a central base for your Yellowstone Park vacation. Our property is only a few hundred yards from the National forest giving you the serenity of being out in the true wild.
