Cette maison de plage face au golfe est situĂ©e sur un terrain traversant, joliment meublĂ©, le plan d'Ă©tage comprend une grande piĂšce ouverte donnant sur le golfe avec table de billard! Cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e avec comptoirs en granit, Ă©lectromĂ©nagers en inox incluant lave-vaisselle et micro-ondes, avec toutes les commoditĂ©s de votre maison. Table de salle Ă  manger de ferme pouvant accueillir 10 personnes et siïżœïżœges de bar complets 4. La tuile en cĂ©ramique aspect bois est partout dans la maison. Deux chambres king face au golfe. Une troisiĂšme chambre donne sur la baie et dispose de deux lits doubles. La quatriĂšme chambre fait face Ă  la baie et a une reine et des lits superposĂ©s. Awesome property

Our first time staying on Dauphin Island and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Property is very well appointed and we're already planning on a return trip next summer if available.

We had a wonderful time at the Purple Pelican! This house is comfortable and clean. The property managers were super responsive to any issues via text. Check in and out was easy. You cannot beat the location!

Relaxing

We loved our trip to Purple Pelican. The island was nice and we loved the beach access. We had some bad weather but had plenty to do between the pool table and card games. Thanks for an awesome stay and house.

Family vacation

The Purple Pelican was exactly what we needed for our family getaway! It was incredibly family-friendly and had everything we needed for our grown children and grandchildren. The location couldn’t have been better, being able to walk straight out to the beach was such a gift, especially with little ones in tow.We’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals over the years, and this one truly stood out. It was exactly as described, clean and well-kept, with more than enough bath towels, hand towels, and kitchen towels for our group. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials to cook and serve meals for our family of 10 — a rare find!Highly recommend The Purple Pelican for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and well-equipped place to make special memories with family. We’ll definitely be back!

The Purple pelican was a wonderful house for our vacation.

The Purple pelican was a great place for our vacation! We took our dogs and one is over 12 years old so being just a few steps away from the ocean helped so much. It was a clean and beautiful home. We will definitely be back next year! Highly recommend!

ON THE BEACH and TOTALLY DOG FRIENDLY

We loved this beach house! Beautiful decor and attributes, fully stocked kitchen and 30 steps from the beach with no other houses in between. Open floor plan is excellent and allowed our little for babies for lots of room to run while allowing us to monitor their behavior. Big deck with nice furniture and a secure closing gate allowed us to let the pups out with no worries. And the hand held shower mid-way up the stairs allowed us to rinse off feet and pups after time on the beach, we felt good that we could help keep this place nice while thoroughly enjoying ourselves at the same time
 can’t wait to come back!! We’re discussing an extended family vacay at this location, can comfortably house our adult children and their significants all under one roof, with 3 full baths to share! Great layout!

Comfortable well furnished house with great location!

We loved Purple Pelican! It was a last minute getaway for us after some other plans had to be canceled. It was so comfortable, well furnished, and clean. The view/location was great, and we loved our time there!

Great location but house was not clean

This house was right on the beach with a nice sandy front for the kids to play on and still be right near the water. However the house was NOT clean when we got there. Most of it was fine but one of the bedrooms had dog hair allll over the floor and in the sheets! Like, a lot of long dog hair all between the sheets and we didn’t even have a dog so that was pretty nasty to have to sleep on that the first night and then wash our own sheets the next day for them to be clean. The washer is COVERED in mold and mildew so I wasn’t sure how clean our clothes were getting. 1 bath mat between 3 showers. Most stuff we could over look but that dirty room and bed was bad.

PUrple Pelican at Dauphin Island

Overall a great vacation rental. Pool table provided much entertainment during the evenings and when it was raining. The beach views were perfect from the deck. Plenty of room in the house for 5 adults. Kitchen was well stocked. A cracked glass pane on a kitchen cabinet was worrisome. It needs replaced! Joint seams on kitchen counter tops need re caulked. Lots of food deposited there. Fitted sheets would not stay on mattresses- not sure why, but it was irritating. Overall would recommend staying here.

No internet

We had no internet most of our vacation. We could not watch TV in 2 of the bedrooms no Netflix or prime. When I called the property manager they were hateful and acted like I was an inconvenience. The house could use a good cleaning but other than that it was as described.

Great location

The location of the home is wonderful. Overall it really is wonderful. It needs some TLC. We had to move a ton of Knick knacks and personal items out of the way to even be able to put our stuff in the house. The cleaning ladies don’t seem to do much more than a quick breeze through. The layout is perfect for families. The master bedroom mattress is less comfortable than the other king room. I would suggest this room even though it doesn’t have a bath. The pool table made for fun game nights. The dining table is great! I would not plan on doing any laundry at the home as the washer is front load & full of mold. My husband is severely allergic to mold so this was a little bit of an issue. The ring needs to be replaced & the door needs to be left open.

Family Vacation

We absolutely loved this house! The pictures didn’t do it justice! The views, soft beds, spacious living room and kitchen were amazing! There is nothing better than being right on the beach so you don’t have to load all of your stuff up! If you have kids you can just sit on your deck and watch them play in the sand! I definitely recommend this house!

I cannot give the Purple Pelican enough stars. I was skeptical due to limited number of reviews but we could not have been more pleased. And Dauphin Island Real Estate personal was always friendly and helpful. *The biker/walker/runner lane along the road was great. *This house was clean, lots of storage for belongings, modern & quality products, quiet - even between rooms, tons of kitchen supplies, and right on the beach. What more could you ask for?! *Smart television in each bedroom (for when you need to escape for some quiet) and the living room. Plenty of space to spread out - great for multiple families. *We enjoyed visiting the gift shops, marine lab, Fort Morgan, and local restaurants. *We will definitely be back!!

Only 4 stars because the outside lift was not available which for an older person could be important

Overall it was just wonderful for me & my family. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were all comfy! Having the pool table sure was great during times of the rainy cold weather. That being said my grandchildren enjoyed playing on the beach & in the water which was so close! The Purple Pelican was just perfect for our January vacation. I would definitely rent it again!
