La cabane en rondins Larsen construite en 2005 repose sur un magnifique site boisĂ© au cƓur d'Egg Harbor.

Pour avoir l'impression de passer des vacances dans le comtĂ© de Door, vous devez ĂȘtre dans la meilleure partie du comtĂ© de Door. La pĂ©ninsule de Door est lĂ  oĂč elle se trouve et oĂč nous en sommes. Le plaisir, la beautĂ©, l'eau, la visite du site et toutes les activitĂ©s vous entourent ici Ă  Larsen Log Cabin.
Nous sommes Ă  moins d'une minute de la marina et de la plage, dĂ©posez votre bateau ou allez Ă  la plage au Village Park. Our group had a great weekend getaway. Everything we could have needed was there, rooms were clean and spacious, and the hot tub was a group favorite at the end of each day. Being a stones throw from the heart of Egg Harbor was perfect, and we would absolutely spend another weekend away here. The host, Paul, was easy to get ahold of, and the communication was seemless.

Lovely winter get-away

Spent a long weekend here with friends. The layout and accommodations worked well. Enjoyed the hot tub out in the snow! The gas fireplace, comfortable furnishings and fully stocked kitchen. Would stay again.

Nice but not worth the price

The place was nice but there’s no walkway to the hotub and it had a bunch of sand in it when we opened it for the first time .The front walk has patio blocks to the main stairs that are rock and you track a lot of dirt into the house. The knife set in the house could be replaced its really outdated had hard time trimming steak. Plus a lot of dirty laundry by the washer in the basement so could be a lot cleaner for sure

Beautiful, spacious retreat!

This is a lovely log house that has the perfect mix of modern amenities and rustic charm. It is very well-maintained and very spacious, yet seems cozy at the same time. We enjoyed being able to walk to everything in downtown Egg Harbor while still having a quiet and peaceful place to stay. The owner/manager was very easy to work with and responded promptly to my questions. Highly recommend!

Unbeatable location in Egg Harbor

My wife, our two daughters and I stayed in this house for a week. It was right off the main road thorough town but far enough off the street to eliminate any noise or light pollution and nestled a cluster of trees giving it a secluded feel. The best part of the house was the location, which was ideal. We were walking distance (less than a mile) from everything in town and almost never used our car. Even the trips we made outside of town were a couple miles or less. The house itself had all the amenities you would need for a family trip but could use a little updating. Also, despite the heavy cleaning requirements for guests upon departure, the house was not spotless when we arrived. That said, it didn't really impact our stay, and we really enjoyed the trip. Egg harbor is also a wonderful town for families and had enough adult options for my wife and I to consider a couple’s trip at a later date.

Great group getaway

Beautiful and spaceous house with all the amenities we needed. Loved the hot tub, firepit, and outside deck. Spent lots of time outside. Has a secluded woods feel, but everything is in walking distance. Great location!

Incredible location and cabin - Must Stay

Where to start? I'm genuinely conflicted about leaving my honest thoughts here, as I don't want this cabin booked solid for the future, selfishly. The location is incredible. The owner managed to create a cabin in the woods location, with privacy, right by downtown Egg Harbor. Literally minutes away (by foot!) from dozens of restaurants and stores. The cabin was spacious and clean, with a well kept hot tub and other amenities. Perfect for a family. My kids enjoyed just hanging out in the cabin. There was a nice outdoor patio as well. To be transparent, there are bugs (cabin in the woods!) so bring bug spray and citronella. There are plenty of stores nearby that carry those items as well. The owner was extremely responsive. Responding to texts via the app within minutes, literally. Paul was very nice and great to deal with, he is an excellent host. There were personalized sticky notes left for us. The check in and check out instructions were clear and simple. The owner does not have a large list of check out instructions like many house/cabin rentals do. I will certainly be staying here again and I'd strongly recommend any rental owned/managed by Paul Larsen.

A cozy and restorative stay!

My spouse and I had a wonderful time at this cabin! The location was great, and we liked being able to get to many places in Egg Harbor and the surrounding areas with ease. The hot tub was also a nice treat, and we saw deer in the area by it while we were getting everything set up. The home is comfortable and clean, and the kitchen is generally well-stocked, as others have said. A couple of tips: there is a Keurig and small Mr Coffee, so you can bring either format of your own coffee (there were filters but no grounds). Also bring along your own tissues (as we had to stop by the store to pick some up). Finally, if you want a gorgeous nature walk, check out The Ridges Nature Preserve. It was a highlight of our trip, and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful Log Cabin, close to town.

Our group was 2 couples, staying for a long weekend. The Cabin was beautiful, clean and had a great location. We used it as a base to explore Egg Harbor, Fish Creek and Ephraim. The spacious living room was a great gathering place in the mornings and evenings where we could plan the days events or recap the days adventure.

Location for shopping, touring, restaurants, etc was excellent.

Family, including grandchildren found the time at Larsen Lodge very relaxing. We were within walking distance of park, restaurants and shopping. Some enjoyed the hot tub. We enjoyed a small campfire. The kitchen was adequately supplied for cooking & eating in.

I grew up in Baileys Harbor known as the quiet side of the Door County Peninsula. Graduated High School 1979 in Fish Creek. I still live in Baileys Harbor on the west side of Kangaroo Lake with my wife and 4 children. I became an electronics technician and own/operate Larsen TV Sales and Service since 1981. My wife has been in the Banking Business and Retail Management for over 20 years.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

I was on a TV Service Call at a beautiful log home and told the customer how much I loved his log home and chinking. He brought me out to his barn where there was a complete unassembled 1861 school house stacked in logs on his floor. I bought it and moved it into the Village of Egg Harbor where I already owned a beautiful wooded piece of property.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We sand blasted all the debris off the logs and assembled this historic 1861 log home because I wanted to restore this part of history. The log portion of this home has become the dining room and living room and gives off so much charm and comfort. The rest of this over 2000 square foot home is stick built that we nicely blended in with the cabin.
