Clean home, but some issues with accuracy of listing in
Overall, the home was very clean which was the most important to me. The second thing that was the most important to me was being able to wash all of our clothes and towels (we always bring our own from home but ultimately did have to use some of their towels because the washer was broken), which is why we chose a Vrbo instead of a hotel at the park we were visiting. Unfortunately, we were not told in advance that the washer was broken and were given a small refund for it after the fact. We ended up paying alot of money for a 2 nights stay without the main amenity which we could have stayed for much less than that st the park we were going to, so thatâs very unfortunate. In addition, the listing said we were to check out for 11 but the maid services came before that âsaying we were supposed to be out at 10, which made us feel rushed. The owners text saying we were correct in staying until 11, but it did ruin what was left of breakfast & ultimately caused some problems with ending our trip on a good note. Overall, it was just frustrating as we felt like it was more about the money than us enjoying our stay. I personally feel like the amenities should have been updated in the listing the moment they knew the washer was broken and not updated to say it was fixed until it was actually fixedâ- not just because some service guys said they would be out. Could have saved some money otherwise. Overall, the home is beautiful and very clean.
