Great vacation home to spend the weekend at while some extended family also camped at the gualala redwood river campground. Quick drive to the campground and to town, great location and beautiful view, lots of bird watching.

The house definitely served its purpose for our trip. 4 bathrooms!!! It was clean but we could tell animals had been there. We were surprised by the grave yard just beyond the backyard. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the house except for at night. It was comfortable but could use another chair in the living room. The bedrooms could use night stands as there is nowhere to charge your phone or set an alarm clock. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and other necessities. Overall, wonderful accommodations for the price!

Stone’s throw from Anchor Bay and with easy access to Gualala. Nestled in redwoods - enjoy birds and sound of crashing waves. Appreciated the thoughtful resources for weathering winter storms.

Great getaway

Perfect spot for a few days with family. Walking distance to coffee shop and market. Appreciated having three warm and sunny days lined up for us!

Great place to get away from the city.

The home was beautiful, with plenty of room for the whole family. We explored all the local beaches in the coastal area. Had a great time.

I had pretty high expectations based on the wonderful reviews. No where in the details or on any of the reviews did it state that there was a cemetery in the back yard. The house had bugs (not sure if they were cockroaches or not) but there was two in the kitchen, one was crawling on the lamp on dining room table when we were eating dinner, one in the bathroom and the downstairs area. I woke up Sunday morning to one crawling on the night stand. The house was cute and clean but the bugs were a huge turn off.The garbage bins were filled to the top when we arrived and the solution was to tie the garbage bags and leave them on the kitchen floor. Normally that wouldn't be an issue except for the house already had bugs. There was only two parking spots available and they were very tiny spots. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time as we had guests over for dinner and had to have them park elsewhere and pick them up.

Weekend Getaway

We had the perfect girls weekend get away at this adorable, cozy home! We ate at the delicious Thai food restaurant just down the street, had coffee from the adorable coffeeshop each morning, and were within walking distance to the beach. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and very comfortable. Would highly recommend!

The home was probably the nicest house we've ever rented. It had beautiful views of the ocean and the sunset from two levels. The kitchen is gorgeous and has two coffee options( bring your own coffee supplies). Check out instructions were easy and reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.

The first impression was a For Sale sign when we pulled up to the house. Next was lonely table on the ground floor with no chairs when we opened the front door. Third was that bedroom 3 was advertised as having Queen size bed. It was Full size. It also was missing a blanket, It had a bed throw instead. There are three balconies but they were dirty and not cleaned up in a while. Second floor bedroom had smoke smell, we took out clothes bin and smell subsided.Whoever designed this house, has a strange taste. Two bathrooms have windows facing into living room. Bedroom 3 has huge window with no shades facing the hallway. Bedroom 1 is actually more like a study with double doors. There are no bug screens, on many windows, so we could not open them at night.When we settled in and closed off the internal windows, we did enjoy the view of the ocean, convenient kitchen and large dining table on the 2nd floor. Location is good, with walking distance to the Anchor bay.
