Stay comfortably in Champion, only minutes away from Lake Michigamme at this 2-bedroom house. The bedrooms feature a soothing queen bed and a wonderful full bed. Enjoy WiFi, window AC, newly renovated kitchen with modern appliances. The living room offers a queen sized futon for additional sleeping space. Experience the magic of Upper Peninsula at our cozy house, situated at the heart of the UP. The house is situated at the end of the street and boasts privacy, with two magnificent apple trees in the front for the needed summer shade.
Conveniently located close to trail 8, Lake Michigamme, local bait shop, and a 30 minute drive to Marquette, you will never run out of things to see and do. We hope to see you soon!

Stayed here on a snowmobiling trip for 5 days. Very nice place, excellent access to the trails. Very clean, simple and convenient. Will be staying here annually from here on out. I wish I could give more stars!! The one “downside” is there could be a little more space for parking. I had a truck and a 18 foot enclosed trailer and we fit ok. Any bigger might be tough!

The house was so cute! We enjoyed being just outside of Marquette, so we could enjoy nature this trip! There’s also a moose crossing sign a few miles up the road — that’s a plus!

Cute cabin in a great location.

Really cute cabin just far enough off the highway for peace & quiet, yet easily accessible. Place was well appointed and clean. Perfect for the two of us. Will certainly be looking into staying here again on future visits UP to the area.

Great little place!

This was the perfect stay for a bit of family to snowmobile out of! Trail was right nearby and was a nice little place to lay our heads at night. Parking can be a bit tricky with trucks and trailers, but Katie was great and made sure to have made some room for us to park. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful central location for all we had planned to visit in the UP. Very dog friendly with an eating mat, bowls, and extra poop bags. All the basics for a home away from home. Recommend bringing night light(s) if you think you may get up in the middle of the night as it is pitch black at night and there are no table lamps/soft lighting. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Thank you!!

A champion in Champion!

Property was EXACTLY what we needed. Located far enough away from towns but still close enough to shopping in town. The house was stocked with everything you could need. Felt like home away from home for a week. Katie was quick to respond and addressed our needs. We will DEFINITELY stay here again next time in the U.P.

Wonderful place to stay.

This was a cozy little place to stay in the UP. It was exactly as described nestled on the hillside of Champion. A very welcoming site after 14 hours of driving. The house was neat, very clean, and stocked with everything you would need for your stay. All you needed was your clothing and food for your stay. It was so nice to have a "home" to lay your head down after a busy day instead of a tiny and stuffy motel. Our hostess, Katie, was an absolute angel! We are an older couple, first time of booking something other than a hotel or motel, and the map we used kept turning us in the wrong directions. She was so patient and understanding of the situation. I give her 101 stars for that alone. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the UP definitely check this property out. It's only 15 minutes from Ishpeming and 30 minutes from Marquette. Plenty of places to site see, activities to do, convenient shopping, and wonderful views.
