1 Bedroom 1 Bathroom: Sleeps 2 adults

1 Queen, 1 Small Twin Futon/Sofa. Along with a kitchenette including mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot.

Right off of lake Dunlap/Guadalupe River. A gorgeous rustic cabin perfect for personal trips and couples getaways! There is a pool on the same property just up from the house by the tree houses as well as a hot tub. The house has direct river access for swimming, fishing, and water recreational activities like kayaking or boating. There is a boat ramp on the property as well. Next to Lakeside suite is a farm house called the bamboo house. If needed you can rent that along with lakeside to sleep a total of 12! Lakeside suite has a car port that fits two, you will see the backside of the house when you pull in to park.

Very quaint. Nice covered porch for sitting with great view of the lake plenty of yard to walk the dog very pleasant host.

Host was very welcoming! Very nice for couples. Back yard leads up to the lake and very peaceful. Rustic feel to the location which is what we were looking for. I highly recommend it if looking for a place to get away and do some fishing or just relax outside and enjoy the view.

The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The location was fantastic with a beautiful view of the lake and some good fishing too

Extremely cozy cabin within a brisk walk to the river. Beautiful area, we saw deer and a little coyote but it wasn’t bothering anybody. Even though it’s in a “resort” it’s quiet and we saw a couple other guests next to the river. Tom, the manager, was extremely quick to help us with any issues with the house but if you need to contact him, a phone call is the best option. This place was amazing and if we ever visit San Antonio or New Braunfels again this will be the spot we go to.

The stay was perfect! The resort on the hill made it so perfect and personal. We LOVED it so much!!! The Lake side suite was perfect for our small family and we felt like we were at home and safe the gated entry was a plus we really liked! No strangers in and out of the property.

Hale’s weekend at river cabin at cloud lane

I give it a 10 out of 10!!! This place is awesome and my wife and I will definitely be going back. Very quiet and peaceful. The deer are fun to watch and the patio was a good break from life and nice place for morning coffee and a steak in the evening!!

dreamy little slice of heaven, 10 minutes from the city

Beautiful secluded spot, a great bargain for our anniversary get-away. The R&R we needed after a long year of hard work. Lots of privacy. The outdoor spaces dedicated to the bungalow are amazing. Management is very good about communication.

Unique property on the water

The property is tucked in off a small side road but very close all that Braunfels has to offer and only about an hour from the Austen airport. The host was terrific and able to accommodate our requests. We had a great time and will be back.

The over property was very calming. It was great for my grandson who had been on an airplane from his last duty station to his new one. He was able to sleep and rest after having a very long trip! The wifi was not working properly. But that is technology it is a hot and miss. I loved the deer in the yard.

Was able to fully unwind. No distractions. Our luck the weather was cold and rainy! Wish it had been warm and sunny so we could have enjoyed the outdoor area more!Very accommodating hosts!

The location was great --- near I35 and downtown New Braunfels. The river area was really nice too. BUT, don't take a lot of luggage as the place is really small. No stove for cooking, only microwave. Refrigerator is small but not tiny -- we thought it was adequate.We ran into a couple of maintenance issues... Manager was very responsive and they were adequately resolved.Washer and dryer are accessed from outside the unit in an attached room.

Cozy Cabin sums it up. Easy check in. Small; but, neat and clean. A handful of nice spices for the barbecue if needed. Swimming in the river is a little tricky since there is a "wall" directly in front of the property. About 100 yards down, is the boat ramp where you can enter easier. I didn't use the pool; but, checked it out. It looked nice, with a couple of cabanas that would give you your own space. Has a communal washer / dryer attached to the back side of it. Not sure how many properties share this site; however, there is plenty of room and a nice lawn that leads down to the lake. We didn't encounter many people. Has a nice large covered patio where we spent most of our time. We spent 2 nights and never left the property. Host was responsive to a couple of questions. We would stay again. Thanks!

My wife and I really enjoyed it, and are already planning our next stay. Other than the Netflix not being available, and being limited to just a few channels, it couldn't have been better. And quite honestly, we need to be outside anyway. We would stay again, and look forward to doing so.

The back porch of this cabin is absolutely wonderful!! It has a beautiful view of the river. We spent the majority of our time here on the porch. The cabin itself is small, but cozy, just like the pictures. Read the email you receive thoroughly prior to arrival. I didn’t and had a hard time finding the cabin upon our arrival and sunset. Once I read the directions in the email, we found it fine. A few of the other cabins were closer than I anticipated based on the listing, but we saw very few people while there. Overall, I would recommend this cabin.
