You’ll be staying in one side of a duplex. While the outdoor spaces, fire pit, and riverfront are shared with the neighboring unit, you’ll have a fully private interior, carport, and back porch equipped with a grill and outdoor dining. Please note, the boat lift is for owner use only.



We utilize professional pest control on a regular schedule, but this does not guarantee a pest-free visit, inside or out. Because we're in the country and near water, you may encounter various wildlife and insects.



We do our best to schedule our lawn service when the property is empty. Sometimes we are unable to coordinate this, and the lawn crew may be present for a few hours during your stay.



We live locally and also have local maintenance and housekeeping for needs that may arise.

Nice getaway

This is the second of Laura and Ryan's properties that we have stayed at in the last two months. The river level is amazing. We took advantage of the view, the kayaks, and the fire pit and had such a nice time at the property.

Great location to surrounding towns

Nice distance to all the surrounding towns. Nice peaceful views from rear deck to a dry lake bed that we had been advised of. Quiet and the stars outside make this the perfect retreat! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Idyllic

We loved spending Labor Day weekend here as a family with our best friends next door. It was clean, cool, and cute. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, plus it was all labeled! Don’t even start me on the view. Amazing. Kids played on the lily pad, kayaks, swam, fished. I had such peaceful morning swims down to the bridge and back. Green lights for fishing were so cool. We’re already making our plans to return for fall break!

The house was so cute and well stocked! The river nearby is so peaceful. We had a wonderful, relaxing the stay. The neighbors around are as friendly as they come. The owners are the kindest people and make sure you have everything you need. We will absolutely be back again!

My favorite place to find solitude ♡

I found the Lone Star at Riley Retreat to be one of my favorite places to go relax, regroup, and just be! The atmosphere is calm and the place has a peaceful quality that is very rare. A real true writer's haven. The local amenities are great! I look forward to a winter's stay.

Totally loved it

We so enjoyed their place and I appreciated the labels on all cupboards to explain what was in each cupboard. The beds were comfy and the couches in the living were fantastic as that is where we do our visiting. Totally loved it and would recommend it to all!

Quick trip

My husband and I visited for a quick weekend get away to relax and unwind. While it was a shame there was no water at the time I can only imagine the space when the water is back to normal. This is a perfect space and with everything in the Home clearly identified with labeling and instructions lol. We would definitely like to come back to stay!

Quiet and clean

It was very clean and well organized with lables on all drawers and cabinets. Kitchen was filled with adequate kichen ware. They even had you covered on the small things you may have forgotten such as tooth brush. They even provided the first cup of coffee! Hosts were very attentive. Check out process was quick and easy. Perfect size for 4 adults. Location was central to many great attractions

Great experience!

I can’t say enough good things about this property rental! The location was perfect for us, the description was exactly as we expected. The house was very clean, organized and updated. We had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. There were other nice touches including books and games for kids and a pack n play for our baby (one less thing to pack). My older kids loved the big bed with the trundle. The host was very informative and easy to communicate with. Really great experience overall!
