A Good Time

Though there was some confusion about the checkout time, our stay was great and we had a fun holiday.

Midtown Condo

The condo is nice, conveniently located in Midtown with lovely views of Downtown. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. The shampoo and body wash bottles in the tub were empty though. There were a few minor cleaning issues. When we walked in the front door, the great view of downtown from the living room was a letdown. The windows on the living room doors had (child?) handprints all over them, as did the bathroom mirror and the TV in the living room. There were also no paper towels we could use to clean the prints ourselves. The blinds on the living room doors also appeared to be broken…so we couldn’t lower them. One thing to keep in mind (and is no fault of the homeowner) is there is a concert venue directly across the street. Unfortunately, we were there (for one night only) on a Saturday night, and it was quite loud until about 4:00 AM. Bring earplugs just in case there is an event on a night the next guests are at the condo.We have stayed in many VRBO rentals over the years. Here are a few recommendations to improve guest's experience: *A coffee pot & a few coffee options*Barstools – there is no dining table/area, only a bar with no stools. We had to eat dinner standing at the bar.*Paper towels in the kitchen*A “Welcome/House Rules” guide. We checked out early in the AM but weren’t sure where to put used towels and sheets. We did receive check-out instructions later that morning, but we were already home when we did.
