Hideaway Bay Beach Club est un beau complexe de maisons de ville situĂ©es sur Little Gasparilla Island, sur la cĂŽte sud-ouest de la Floride. Nous sommes Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de Boca Grande, qui est connu pour les cĂ©lĂšbres tournois de pĂȘche au tarpon.

L'Ăźle est accessible seulement ĂȘtre bateau. Cependant, notre dĂ©veloppement offre un service de traversier gratuit pour les clients. Belles plages dĂ©sertes couvertes de coquilles ... l'endroit idĂ©al pour profiter des couchers de soleil spectaculaires! Sentiers de la nature couvrent l'Ăźle. Pas de voitures autorisĂ©es seulement ... charrettes et les vĂ©los de golf calme! Golf panier sentiers sont couvrir l'Ăźle. Golf panier Ă  l'avant et la banquette arriĂšre inclus. Si vous aimez aller Ă  la pĂȘche, la natation, les bombardements, crabe, plongĂ©e, observation des oiseaux ou simplement se dĂ©tendre sur l'une des plus belles plages de la Floride cet endroit est. Hideaway Bay a sa propre promenade privĂ© Ă  l'ocĂ©an. Les gens se rassemblent chaque soir pour regarder les plus beaux couchers de soleil au monde.

Hideaway Bay a pour les clients une communauté belle et grande fosse BBQ plus 2 fumeurs de barbecue graves pour la communauté (ce qui arrive souvent) ou rassemblements individuels. Il suffit de consulter le conseil d'administration à l'aire d'atterrissage. Nous avons aussi une piscine chauffée de la communauté avec une bibliothÚque de livres.

Notre unité a un lit king-size à l'étage et 2 lits simples dans une chambre en bas, plus un cuir canapé trÚs confortable que l'on peut dormir. Nous avons une laveuse et sécheuse. Nous incluons la voiturette de golf et fournir du gaz et barbecues au charbon.

Vous pouvez apporter votre propre bateau et l'amarrer gratuitement ou en louer un Ă  proximitĂ©. Prenez une excursion en bateau Ă  Cabbage Key oĂč vous pouvez profiter d'un «cheese burger au paradis» et tour de l'Ăźle ne pas beaucoup mieux.

Ce sera le plus proche que vous aurez jamais venir Ă  se sentir comme vous ĂȘtes sur l'Ăźle de Gilligan. Il est un endroit unique pour des vacances et celui qui vous donnera des souvenirs pour toujours! AprĂšs la dĂ©couverte de notre Ăźle, vous reviendrez Ă  chaque fois.

Always love going to LGI. The condos at Hideaway Bay provide great amenities!

This property was in a great location. We got to the island early, so we had to wait for cleaning, but not any longer than the listed check-in time. Since we are familiar with the island, we were able to leave our things below the condo and head down to the beach to meet some friends. The setup of the beds was a bit different, but it ended up working great for us anyway, so no biggie. Overall, I'd stay here again.

Peaceful Island Getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed our vacation getaway on this beautiful island. Condo was well equipped for our stay. Golf cart was a bonus to explore the island but lights were not working, so no night time use. WIFI was spotty, some days not working at all. Tom was very easy to work with during the process of renting and during our stay.

Review of Townhouse

I stayed at the property from 7/7-7/13, the property was clean. This property advertised for $157 but i was charged $165. When i asked about the difference i was told that the site gives estimates, i let it go because it was only $8 per day more. Once we arrived we realized that the tv in the master bedroom didn't work. We have asked if the townhouse came with toilet paper, garbage bags etc and we were told just bring personal items. The party consisted of 2 adults, 2 seniors and a 6 yr old. By the third day my daughter had to go out on the ferry to get toilet paper and on the way there Sunday morning the golf cart broke. We notified the owner and he said he will notify the mechanic but days past and the owner said he couldn't locate him. I rented this place for 3 reasons, golf cart, free ferry and proximity to the beach. I had suffered 2 strokes and is difficult for me to walk, my sister, the other senior, also has problems walking due to sciatica. This was a great inconvenience for both of us as we counted on the golf cart to be able to move around. It rained heavily during our stay so it was impossible to go anywhere without it. We called the golf cart rental on the island even though they say to make reservations 2 weeks in advance to see if they had any rentals and i got no response. I was disappointed that the owner didn't compensate us in any way for the golf cart even though that's the only way to move in the island. Two days before our departure we realized there were no string garbage bags and we made due with grocery bags. I understand that the owner doesn't visit this property maybe because it is for sale he has divorced himself from it but as a renter i trust that things in the property are as they say because we are on an island and the only way out is a ferry. If things are not as advertised it ruins the guest experience not only by going out to the mainland to shop but also by the lack of transportation. I also had some clothes ruined as the blue wash towels bleed into my clothes when doing the laundry. The toilet on the main floor has problems with the water line, it shakes horribly and makes a very loud noise when its filling up the tank. Also the couch is in very bad shape, its uncomfortable as a bed. My daughter, her husband and my grandson came from Va and my sister from Ft Lauderdale, i wanted to give them an experience to remember of the island but unfortunately that didn't happened.

Awesome area but little outdated

Condo is listed as a 3 bedroom is only a 2. Boat slip is not guaranteed as suggested they are community docks first come first serve. Ferry schedule is crazy if you’ve never done an island must plan and no late nights out. Over all people on island are friendly and was a good time had by all. Beach is not crowded and island is clean and private. Condo could use some updates is very dated furniture could use a refresh also. Understand it is an island and must be a pain to bring in new items. Pool is not open after dark found this to be an oddity as it is heated and you could swim year round. Just some thoughts from our party. Tom was very easy to work with and having the golf cart was great. All in all was a good place and would recommend to others.

Wonderful, relaxing week

We had a great time on LGI. We had stayed there last year as well, and this year did not disappoint! We love the quiet of the island, and the Hideaway Bay facilities. The weather was perfect, the gulf water was warm enough to swim, and walking the beach is both great exercise and a wonderful opportunity to find beautiful shells and lots of sharks' teeth!

We had a lovely time on the island. Tom was a wonderful host. He was very easy to communicate with and very organized with all the instructions. The accommodations were all you need for a relaxing beach stay. The people we met were all very kind and friendly. Little Gasparilla Island is a special place and we hope to go back someday! Relaxing property

Clean cute & quaint

The property was honestly one of the cutest little things. I didn’t know what I was getting into but the condo was clean & homey. I stayed with a few girlfriends for a getaway & all we needed for the condo was groceries. The condo is stocked with anything you’d really need in the kitchen, had plenty of towels and sheets for us to use. The laundry was also a nice feature for beach’s things. The golf cart was in great condition and beach chairs were available for use as well as a big cooler so that was a plus! Everyone on the island was so nice and so were all of the ferry captains, it made it super enjoyable to just say hello to anyone who passed. If you are considering staying here I recommend it, you won’t regret it!

Wish we could have stayed longer!!

This was our first time staying at LGI and our family of four (8yo & 4yo) loved every moment of it!! Tom was always very quick to respond when planning our visit and at one point during our stay when we needed to reach him. We chose the villa because it included the dock for our boat as well as a golf cart to explore the island. Even though the beach and the docks were within walking distance we all had so much fun on the golf cart. We went out on our boat fishing everyday and saw lots of dolphins, manatees, stingrays and even sharks. One afternoon while we were at the beach a manatee came right up to us and a group of people allowing us to pet it. It literally kept bumping into us and sticking its nose out to check us all out. Our kids will forever have this special memory! It was the coolest thing ever! The villa wasn't anything fancy but we weren't looking for fancy. It had everything we needed and there were even some spices and condiments left from previous guests which came in handy. We didn't really watch TV but there were several DVDs, there was also a nice selection of board games in the guest closet which we did use during the afternoon thunderstorms. If I had to think of anything negative I would say that the master bedroom mattress was too firm for me but that's just my personal preference. By the end of each day we were so worn out that it didn't really matter. We took this trip to get away from everyday stresses and just enjoy nature as a family and we did just that. We made so many family memories and already want to go back!!

Hidden Island Jewel

My teenage sons and I had a great fishing week on LGI. The condo was perfect for the 3 of us, equipped with everything we needed throughout the stay. We really only needed our food. With the association pool, ferry and docks this place has it all. The golf cart was great to explore the island and as transport for our various fishing expeditions. Weather was great and the fishing was pretty good too. We will be back.

Little Gasparilla is Paradise!

We have been to LGI several times and will continue to come back. This condo is well equipped and the golf cart is a plus. Take a ride to the North end of the island to the Gone Fish Inn gift shop. We also rented a boat and kept it at the Hideaway docks. This condos location is nice as it is close to the ferry and pool. The only thing we weren't able to use was the pull out couch as it was broken. Other than that it was well stocked with linens, neccessities, and beach chairs!

Great Time!

We just returned from our week on LGI. We hated to leave such a peaceful and beautiful place. The condo is well-equipped, very clean and quiet. You won't need a single thing except your food. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind. We loved having the golf cart to explore the island and the ferry was also fun. Everyone we met was very friendly and welcoming. LGI has a gorgeous beach with hundreds of beautiful shells, sand dollars and we even found a shark's tooth. We hope to come back next year. Thank you Tom for sharing your condo with us.

Booked this property for 2/13/16-2/20/16. Unfortunately, found morning and evening that ants were invading the kitchen area of the condo. The first day of visit went to store and stocked fridge for week. Put dry goods on counter in kitchen area and went out on our boat for the day. When we came back in the afternoon a new package of Entemann Donuts were full of small ants. They were crawling on the wall and across the counters of the kitchen. We cleaned the area and set ant traps and disposed of the donuts. The next morning the ants had returned again. We put dry goods inside a cooler and set on tile floor in kitchen area. The ants found dry goods inside cooler also. Even after putting ant traps out. You could visibly see the ants come out of wall behind pantry next to entry door to condo. Also, there was a small hole on the opposite wall at the end of the kitchen counter near dishwasher that they continually appeared from. I contacted owner and explained this problem as well as others with the property. The owner said he contacted the association who treats for extermination issues for the condo properties. They couldn't go treat the ant infestation while we were there and I was told that other properties had the same problem with "sugar ants" and that they are very hard to control. Other deficiencies included a gas grill that was missing a hinge for the hood and did not work well. A cluttered storage area that was substandard. Batteries in remote control inoperative for TV in living room. The sink drain in master bathroom that did not work. The sink drain in kitchen that stopper didn't hold water. The main floor toilet had handle that stuck. Sliding glass door difficult to open and close. The laundry room sliding door difficult to open and close. Wallpaper in master bath coming off wall. Refrigerator made noise when running. Stains on carpet in living room, stairwell and master bedroom. At the bottom of stairs going outside to wooden patio area the plaster ceiling was bowing down. The baseline is that there were many deficiencies to this property and I would not recommend this property. Very disappointing.

Incredible Island Getaway

LGI is a little slice of paradise and Tom's condo was the perfect home base to share in all the area had to offer. The condo was well stocked with basic essentials including towels, sheets, kitchen spices, etc. The association also has an ice machine for coolers we found extremely helpful. Tom was fantastic to work with, promptly replied and answered all of our questions and provided recommendations. We brought our own boat and felt like having the condo area "Captain" gave us an extra level of security to make sure everything was secure at the dock. As for the island itself we very much enjoyed the golf cart, exploring the paths daily. The beach was incredible for shells, sand dollars, fishing and watching gorgeous sunsets. The location was a perfect spot to explore other islands nearby on the boat, anchor into shallow waters and enjoy the perfect beach weather. We loved the laid back atmosphere of LGI and will certainly be back.

Amazing!

This was simply the best vacation we have ever had. The condo is well stocked, clean and comfortable. Tom was a joy to work with and extremely helpful.The location is perfect, close to both the bay and the beach. We were able to see a sea turtle lay it's eggs and return to the ocean, armadillos, eagles, giant manta rays, save a baby sea turtle stuck in sea weed, collect amazing shells and a bag full of shark teeth. This island is so beautiful. If you want peace and quiet this is the place to be. We loved the condo and the island and plan on returning every year.

Excellent stay!

My husband and I came to LGI on a getaway with another couple. The condo was very clean, organized, and fully equipped with the necessities. We loved having breakfast on the porch overlooking the lake. It is walking distance to the pool, ferry dock, boat dock, and beach entry. We truly enjoyed our golf cart rides exploring the island- golf cart is included. Additionally, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. There were extra blankets to use for getting cozy on the couch as well. Overall, we loved our stay and the beachy feel the condo had to offer. - The Greenes

Getaway

My husband and I recently stayed at this unit which was neat, tidy and fully equipped with all the necessary kitchen supplies and linens. The view is lovely of the lake. It is conveniently located near the picnic area, community pool and ferry. The golf cart made it easy to get around the island. The beach is private and we enjoyed our long walks collecting shells. The owner's prompt response to our requests was greatly appreciated. This is a great getaway. Enjoy.

Excellent place for families. Kids can roam the safe island and beaches. Hideaway Bay Beach Club community pool and BBQ area, and daily ferry were huge perks of the neighborhood.
