Overall, the home worked very well for our family. Clean, quiet location, Comfortable beds, and a great kitchen with everything you need. Hot tub and fire pit were great gathering places for our family, as well as the game room and indoor and outdoor dining tables. Host was very quick to respond, and made sure we had what we needed. Would definitely return to this rental again!

The house was even better than the photos! Each bedroom was cozy and tasteful. The living rooms up and down were comfy for lounging or talking. The dining room table was great for board games and lively dinner conversations. And the kitchen was absolutely ideal for our family member who loves cooking. Plus, there was a charger for our family member with a plug-in hybrid! The driveway approach makes you feel tucked away in your own estate, and yet you're minutes away from the best of Fennville, Douglas, and Saugatuck. The heading doesn't lie when it labels it "perfection"!On top of the lovely house itself, we got quick responses when we had any questions about supplies or power outages, and one of the owners popped over in good humor to help.

Amazing clean , spacious home close to Saugatuck. Perfect for families , we loved the fire pit with room for the whole family to sit and enjoy ! Hot tub was clean and the perfect way to end the day. We enjoyed this very spacious house and will definitely be back!

What an amazing location! So central to downtown Saugatuck and only 20 minutes from downtown Holland. Josh, the host, was available anytime we needed him. Would definitely recommend!

Enough room for everyone to spread out, but cozy enough to come together and enjoy each others company. Love the fact that there is only one television, downstairs. The dining room table was large enough to fit everyone comfortable. Kitchen was enjoyable to cook in. The firepit was put to use every evening. Being able to bring our dog was a plus.

My group really enjoyed our stay, but we did encounter a number of issues and oddities about the property. Firstly, Joshua was an effective communicator which I greatly appreciated. Secondly, the beds were extremely comfortable. We loved the space for our large group. The large refrigerator was key for our large group. The decor was also well done. A few issues we encountered that detracted from the stay were that the floors appeared to have been recently sanded down but not refinished which was odd under foot. Secondly, there were a few maintenance issues including the hot water heater going out for almost an entire day, the stove top did not light easily, the hot tub temperature was locked and couldn't be adjusted to our preference, the primary bath could have been cleaned a bit better including an odd repair of the drywall, and the downstairs bunk room did not match the listing photos and instead of two sets of bunk beds there was a queen and one set of bunks. We made that work but had to redo our sleeping arrangements on the fly to sort it out. Additionally, the washing machine had a musty odor which was less than ideal (likely the result of wet towels sitting in it from prior visits and not being aired out properly between washes). Overall, we had a good stay but dealing with the issues did take our focus away from the point of the trip.

Especially appreciate the kind words about communication, the comfortable beds, the big kitchen, and the decor. After lovingly owning the home for 10 years, we've been refreshing some essential parts of it — new carpeting, fresh interior paint just before your stay, and our wood floors recently redone with a natural penetrating-oil finish. That finish gives them a beautiful matte, hand-crafted feel rather than a high-gloss coating, an intentional choice that pairs with the decor you enjoyed for that warm, elevated look. A couple of small finishing touches, like one paint spot, were still on our list, and your notes help us close them out. On the hot water and the hot tub: we're always happy to jump in the moment guests reach out so everything's dialed in just right, thus my fast responses. We only wish we'd known sooner so we could've sorted them out for you in good time. Thank you also for the note on the washer and the stove. We’ll get both tended to. And we're updating photos overall once complete so all is crystal clear for future guests. Thanks again for choosing our home, and for the feedback. It helps us keep making the place better for every group that stays.

Our group of 6 longtime friends does an annual trip every year, and this year we chose Saugatuck — this house was the perfect home base for our weekend. The home was very clean, spacious, and had such a cozy feel from the moment we walked in. We especially loved the decor and how comfortable and inviting everything felt.The kitchen, deck, and grilling areas were highlights for us. They made it so easy for everyone to cook together, eat together, and just sit around chatting for hours. We also made plenty of memories (and had lots of laughs) in the hot tub!The location was great too — close enough to the Saugatuck area to easily enjoy everything nearby while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. Overall, such a fun and comfortable stay for a group trip. We’d absolutely recommend it!

Nice house in a great location. Close to Saugatuk/Douglas with amenities and beaches. Salt of the Earth was a great restaurant find in Fennville.

Great stay at Wildwood!

Perfect location in the woods close to activities and town but extremely quiet and relaxing. Really enjoyed the firepit, hot-tub, and cozy first floor tv room with the rainy weather a couple nights.

We love coming to Wildwood for a winter getaway. It’s our third year staying here with three families and there is space for everyone and we all instantly feel happy to be back. Wonderful host and stay!

Perfect location for ease of access to Saugatuck & South Haven. Loved the acreage and feeling of solitude while being so close to great parks, restaurants, and shopping. Would absolutely stay again!

Plenty of room for ten of us for family vacation. The game room room was a hit with the younger set. The locaton is great, very near everything Saugatuck and Holland has to offer. Joshua was very responsive. It has forrest on all sides, very wonderful.

Wonderful getaway

This property was everything we could ask for. What a lovely relaxing retreat! We enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again. Lots of hangout space for a big group of people. Excellent amenities.
