Newly Refurbished 2 Bedroom Apartment with Sea Views over Nerja's Burriana Beach

This wonderfully situated 2 bedroom air conditioned apartment is set in the award winning Capistrano Playa complex & overlooks the blue flag Burianna Beach. The centre of Nerja with its old town & many restaurants is within walking distance, or by a short taxi ride.

Patio doors from both the main bedroom & lounge provide access to 2 linked terraces, one of which is partially covered and has an extendable awning. There are spectacular views over Burianna beach with its many restaurants & bars which are a few minutes walk away down through tropical gardens.
Inside there are 2 bedrooms: 1 double & 1 twin.the apartment is fully air conditioned and additionally both bedrooms and lounge area have ceiling fans. The modern fully equipped kitchen has granite worktops, oven, microwave & dishwasher and is fully equipped for those wishing to have a self catering holiday. The bathroom houses the washing machine. There is a separate bath and shower. Living/dining area contains a 42 ' LCD TV with ITV BBC SKY and various European language channels provided over IP TV. There is also a CD and DVD player. There is a free key operated safe.

The two separate but linked terraces are set up with a dining table and chairs located with the built in BBQ on one terrace. This area is also accessed directly from the main bedroom, and there are two sun loungers on the other terrace accessed from the lounge .There is a purpose built BBQ on one of the terraces for fantastic all year round al fresco dining.

Wi Fi is available at the property, and is provided free of charge.

The complex has 2 pools & toddler pool, umbrellas & sun beds (small extra charge payable at the bar) and also a snack bar serving lunchtime meals and snacks as well as drinks with a full bar drinks

This accommodation exceeded all expectations — it’s even better than the pictures! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The highlight was the stunning beach view - You can hear the waves from your room. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway.

Very cute little apartment with a great view. Very homey and personalized. Dishes,spices, coffee maker and toaster.Down stairs onto beach and restaurants. Only be prepared for lots of walking and stairs.

Beautiful apartment with fantastic view

Just back from an amazing week in this apartment. The location in incredible with a stunning view of the sea and Burriana beach. Everything you could need was there . We were really impressed with the fantastically stocked kitchen. We could have cooked a 3 course meal if we had so wished. Highly recommended.

Great view, clean and well equipped apartment

The apartment has a great view over the beach. Good location with easy access to the beach through the tropical garden. We spent many a day by the pool and enjoyed the on-site cafe where you can get a light snack and a beer. Alec was very helpful through out.

Fantastic apartment in great location in beautiful , tropical surroundings ! The online photos really did not do this apartment justice. The view from the balcony is amazing & particularly overlooking the large pond watching the fish & turtles swimming around was a bonus . Paradise!

Such an amazing place. Perfect location with easy access to a pool and beach. Gorgeous views and beautiful surroundings of the botanical garden. Loved relaxing on the balconies to the sound of the waves and waterfalls. Nerja was the perfect place for a family holiday, with great options for food and activities like kayaking. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Well stocked with cooking things, coffee makers, bbq and even beach things like bucket and spade and parasol. Well air conditioned. The management company were also very responsive and helpful for any questions. Cant recommend this place enough (and have already rebooked!)

We were here for a month. This is a 2.5 star accommodation with a 5 star view. There is nothing refurbished about the apartment: all furniture is old, and in pretty bad repair, dishwasher and stove also very old. TV I think from early 2000, not a smart tv. Apartment smelled of smoke. Construction noise from a large house being renovated on the hill facing Capistrano was daily even on Saturday. Second bedroom was not made up with sheets or towels and we felt the need to clean more thoroughly ourselves. We did get the second bedroom issue rectified 3 days later. Host is slow to respond. The area is outstanding and the view is amazing. The apartment could be made so much better by a little bit of tlc and refreshing (toilet seat needs replaced and mirror in bathroom, updating pots and pans). There are 172 steps down to the beach. We are fit and didn’t mind this but if you have any mobility issues this apartment is not a good choice. If you’re not going to walk down the steps to the beach you’ll walk 20 minutes into the town for restaurants and markets. Nerja is awesome, we loved our time here!

Great holiday after access resolved

Beautiful apartment with stunning views. Quiet location , accessible to old town Nerja as long as climbing stairs is not a problem. Beach and pool make this property a real getaway. It is decorated nicely and perfect for a couple or family. VRBO sent out check in access information which is no longer valid and the property owner claimed access was sent via email which wasn’t received so it was a very frantic arrival and check in process after many hours of traveling.The property owner did respond by calling us in our time of need.The local management company did not respond to email or voicemail inquiries. The kitchen is well stocked and beach accessories were appreciated.

A Relaxed Beachy Paradise!

Alec sure created a special little oasis in the Playa Capistrano complex. We could not have stayed at a sweeter apartment in Nerja! The kitchen was well-appointed so if you wanted to cook in, you had everything you needed to prepare a nice meal. But with so many wonderful restaurants available, we only ate in one night. The furnishings were comfortable and attractive. The bed was firm and cozy. Everything worked well--air conditioning, washing machine, appliances. The close location to the beach was wonderful and we liked climbing the stairs because we felt less guilty about eating and drinking! Alec had tons of information available so as you were chilling with a beer, seltzer or glass of wine, you could check out all of the wonderful activities Nerja and the area had to offer. We like to walk so the nice stroll into town or to the Mercadona at the top of the hill was a perfect distance. If we are lucky enough to return to Nerja, we would love to stay at Casa Lucia again.

Great apartment in fantastic location

Casa Lucia in Capistrano Playa was a great find. We stayed 6 weeks through winter. Perfectly suited for the time of year, there is air conditioning that supplies heat, which is supplemented with an oil filled radiator if needed. Easily available hot water. The kitchen is fully equipped, and a full range of crockery and utensils. We cooked well over the period. Beds are lovely and comfortable with an amazing view of daily sunrise from the main bedroom. The 2 terraces are linked together and fully equipped. Capistrano Playa is amazing with a layout of individual apartments in a horseshoe form around the coast. It is very well maintained by the staff. The whole apartment is very well kept and nicely decorated. We liked it very much. There is direct access to Burriana Beach and shops, bars and restaurants. This is down private steps through the gardens alongside a small ornamental waterfall. Quite lovely and peaceful. They could be challenging but there are strategically placed seats, view points and level areas if you want a breather on the way back. I have a heart condition but managed them well. It’s also a short walk into Nerja centre. We hope to go back again.

An amazing holiday at a fantastic apartment which we felt at home in from day one! We travelled as a family of 5- 3 adults and 2 children (9 and 12). Alec has provided everything you could possibly need at the apartment and the views from the terrace/balcony are so lovely- you feel as if you are in your own tropical paradise looking out over the sea, tropical gardens and lagoon- listening to the sound of the waterfalls and fountain as you relax on the terrace. We ate out at several of the restaurants along the front and had bbqs on the terrace some nights. Would highly recommend a trip to the caves in Nerja. We walked into Nerja then caught the ‘red train’ to the caves- well worth a look. Pool area is relaxed with no rushing for sunbeds- you have to hire one if wanted or can take chairs/ towels down to sit on under the shade of the parasols. Pool staff great and drinks/ snacks available all day until 8pm. Lots of steps down to the beach and front (170!) so not for those who would struggle with this but totally manageable for our family and not a problem. Large supermarket only a 15min walk away, we did 2 big shops whilst there then got an Uber back with the shopping. Small supermarket on the front although a bit overpriced, as you’d expect. Altogether a fantastic holiday and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future. Thanks for sharing your lovely holiday home Alec! :)

The apartment is located on the west side of the complex and offers outstanding views over Burriana beach and the sea. Sun is on the terrace from the morning till the latter part of the afternoon. Unlike other apartments located closer or in the town, there are no difficulties in parking your car. In the summer months, especially, it is very difficult to find free parking in town. The location of the apartment offers a noise free and relaxed environment with fantastic views.
