Great location, quiet and yet not far from amenities. The house needs a bit of updating. First time to the island, and we can’t say enough about the warm welcome and hospitality from the island people.

My family of 10 really enjoyed our stay at Villa Emmanuel. We loved how close we were to star fish point and sting ray city. We sew so many sting rays and star fish in the bay in the back of the house we had no need to go to either of those 2 places. The house was clean and beds very comfortable. The house could use a little maintenance but nothing that affected our stay. We do recommend that if there is ten people in the Villa there would be more water and toilet paper supplied as we ran out. Barbara the house manager was able to get some more water we greatly appreciated that. Overall wonderful stay here at the Villa. Memories were made here thank you.

This place is incredible! The details on the site are well captured, and the place is just as described. The screened in porch was a favorite of the group for morning coffee or to stay out of the rain. The location is perfect. It has a secluded feel and you can easily walk to Rum Point or Kaibo for cocktails and snacks. You can also take the kayaks (or rent some paddle boards) and make a trip around the corner to the bioluminescent bay, which is one of the coolest things ever.

The Villa was spotless and the view was unbeatable! There were plenty of chairs on the porch, pool deck, and beach so we could enjoy the view any time of the day. The water was calm and we could swim and snorkel in the cove. It also felt very private which was really nice. I loved our trip and hope to be back soon!

Wonderful place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed the first week of December, 10 of us. It was good sized, accommodating each of us comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked with tools, dishes, utensils, making cooking a breeze. The rooms were spacious, bathrooms very nice, and a wonderful screened patio with seats for all of us to visit, play games, etc. The pool was beautiful and well maintained. Beach access was outstanding, sand toys for the two little ones with us to enjoy, and two kayaks that were well utilized. We had no need to contact the property manager it was so well taken care of. What contact I had with her as well as the company were professional and friendly. We were within walking distance to Starfish Point, about 15 minutes, and Rum Point, about 20ish minutes, but we drove to both due to the stuff we carried. I would definitely request this house again, it was great! And we had an unobstructed view of the ocean. We prefer the North Side, it's less crowded, very relaxing, and had the dining and gift shopping that met our desires. The two excursions we took picked us up at Kaibo Beach, so we didn't have to make trips throughout the island. We also were close to the Parrot Sanctuary, Queen Elizabeth Botanic Gardens, the Crystal Caves; we did drive around to the Turtle Center and ****, two of my favorites. Timing was good for visiting, less crowded, especially for a few days no cruise ship crowds to deal with. On the Rum Point and Cayman Kai side, we dined at the Rum Point restaurant, excellent! Kaibo Beach bar, excellent! Over the Edge restaurant, very good! Tukka restaurant, excellent! with very good rum they distill, had to bring a bottle home, very smooth. Of course we went into Georgetown to the Tortuga Rum location and got our rum cakes and bottles of rum, very good there too. Did our token shopping along the cruise district of shops, but not crowded since no ships for a few days. Even got the hang of driving on the left lane. The round-abouts are still a challenge, there are so many!

It is beautiful the moment you walk in and the perfect layout for two families. The Property Manager was super responsive and really helpful. We went during rainy season, so the bugs were especially and she dropped off additional bug spray and a candle. Also, due to being there during rainy season some places were closed down, such as Kaibo. So if you were to go during end of September into October, I'd check this first. Even with being there during rainy season, we still had tons of sunshine. The rain was minimal and welcomed. It is rather remote, so a car is necessary. Though if Kaibo and Rum Point are open then they are walkable. Listing is accurate and the reality of the rental might be even better! Go to Stingray City via boat, our greatest memory! Enjoy!

Spectacular!

Spacious and lovely, Villa Emmanuel is located in a quiet area with dazzling ocean and sunset views. An amazing pool area and covered cabana was a favorite gathering place for our party of eight. We arranged jet ski rental and other beach activities at Rum Point and enjoyed delicious meals at Kaibo Grill, Over the Edge, and luscious drinks at Rum Point. The villa’s property manager, Barbara, promptly answered all our inquiries, helped set up grocery delivery before our arrival, and provided information for a local chef to prepare authentic cuisine right from the villa’s own kitchen. Can’t wait to return to this paradise!

Best Spring Break Ever!

We loved staying at Rum Pointe in the Villa Emmanuel. Our own beach plus pool were perfect for our family which ranged in age from 7 to 70. The location is perfect - close to a market and restaurants, and the view of the sunset is remarkable!! Will definitely do again!

Amazing!

First of all Barbara and her husband did a great job as the property manager. Very responsive and helpful. Property is exactly as described. Stayed with 10 people ranging from 2, to my parents that are 60. Everyone commented that the beds seemed too firm at first, but were very comfortable. Pool and beach access was great. Screened in porch wasn't necessary for the time of year, but if you go when it is buggy this would have been a great addition. Kayaks provided were used multiple times a day. Location was quiet and great access to Kaibo marina for stingray city excursion (highly recommend). Kitchen could use a large cookie sheet, and the beach needs sand brought in to cover the palm tree roots. Amazing sea life right out the back door. We saw hundreds of starfish, fish, crabs, hermit crabs, lionfish (away from the beach and from the kayak, no worries). Very close to bio bay. Island was very clean and the locals are extremely nice. Very safe place to vacation with family. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend this house and property manager.

Cayman Kai house review

The house is beautiful, location is great, and the view out the back is fabulous. The kitchen has enough dishes for an army (but not a lot of storage area for all the food). Only one bedroom has a dedicated attached bath. Two bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, two bedrooms upstairs both use a small stand alone bathroom. The small bathroom downstairs is very handy. The light switches are a mystery, and most aren’t labeled. Some of the switch locations are curious (one of the outside light switches is in the laundry room). A book with information about the house, restaurant recommendations and area attractions would be great. All in all a very nice stay.

Stunning Views

Absolutely gorgeous property with stunning views. Interior and exterior is well appointed. Property is within walking distance to Rum Point. Nearby activities available and we appreciated the kayaks provided to head out on the ocean every day! We will be back!

Great Rum Point House!

Christmas Holiday with adult Family

We all fell in love with the Cayman Kai area. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe with dining and water sports within walking distance. Access to the Bioluminescence Bay was a plus for evening entertainment.

Second Rum Run

Villa Emmanuel served us well! There were small issues w broken furniture outside, but nothing that bothered us. The house has tons of room and several areas to gather for board games or just to talk. Pool was great. Small beach is nice, but beware the jelly fish. Two of us were stung while snorkeling just off the beach. Small rays visited us each morning to feed in close to shore. Several starfish just iff shore. Kayaked to Starfish Point, but wind made it a chore coming back. Kitchen was great. Kaibo bbq was decent but it has gotten out of control price wise, imo, so beware.

Plenty of room to spread out, unbeatable views, good size pool, everything was well stocked and with everything you needed to feel at home. We spent a lot of time on the large rear screened porch and around the pool. The service provided by Barbara was top notch - and she also gave us a great recomendation for a home chef for an evening. That was one the many highlights of our stay, to enjoy a home cooked meal of local cuisine. (Linda - did a great job) Overall this location on the north side was just perfect for our group - quiet and several walkable restaurants that we also enjoyed. The Chisolms grocery store was just a few miles down the road had most of what we needed as well. Overall I would highly recommend this location - especially if you prefer smaller crowds and relaxation over nightlife. Property is very well managed. Easy access for boat charters as well at Kaibo or Rum Point. All of the people we encountered on the island from airport staff, property manager, boat captains, bar tenders, waiters/waitress, etc were extremely hospitable - Looking forward to another visit to this part of the island again!
