The house was great! Perfect location, very clean, the girls loved the head wraps to dry their hair, ample room for all of us to relax in the living room, and the beds were super comfortable. Communication with the host was great too! We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay!This place was perfect for our getaway, just a short walk to the beach and conveniently close to a store for all our essentials. The rooms were clean, cozy, and super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day in the sun. The whole space felt welcoming and well-maintained. We would definitely love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful beachside retreat!

We have stayed at many VRBOs over the years, and this has been one of the BEST experiences yet! The home was perfect for our family coming to the island to celebrate a graduation - and had extremely thoughtful hosts who truly care about their guests and provided a comfortable, inviting modern space in their well maintained and appointed beach home. Easy and fast communication, check in / out was a breeze, the space was clean, modern, and has a convenient location in a well maintained safe neighborhood. The welcome basket/decor was incredibly thoughtful, and patio area off the garage was a fun bonus space to spread out. The master suite with a flexible workspace was super helpful to take care of work stuff in-between. The garage access was very useful for extra parking, and their neighbors were so sweet and delivered a surprise care package that arrived while we were away. Having just a single entry step makes it friendly for elderly family members to navigate - a rare find for island homes in this area. We arrived as strangers but felt like extended friends and family with the owners by the time we left. We already have family who want to make their own reservation to return again soon! Thank you for opening your home to us and making our stay so special!

Thank you so much for letting my family and I to stay in your beautiful home. Everything was perfect and our stay was beyond fantastic. The beach was literally walking distance and all attractions, stores, & restaurants were very close by. The owners of the home was always a call or text away if you need anything. Best stay by far!

So Cozy

We recently stayed here and it was perfect! The house was so cozy, roomy, and welcoming for our large family! The location was great and as well as the neighborhood. We were only four blocks from the beach and not far from any restaurants or stores. We can not wait to go back here again!!

Excellent Home Away From Home

We needed a place for a family weekend vacation in Galveston. Your home was an excellent home away from home. Everything checked out - The rooms were large enough for 2 people. - The master bedroom was located away from the other two rooms to have privacy, but close enough to bond with other family members.- The two car garage was a big blessing and provided added privacy and safety.- The kitchen was fully equipped. We had all the utensils needed to make our meals.- The decorations were on point.Overall, it was an excellent choice!

Perfect family vacation

Coastal Cottage was exactly the stay we needed to refresh and renew. Perfect space for our family of 5. Thoughtful details like K-cups for our first day, plenty of towels in the kitchen and bathrooms and water bottles chilled in the fridge gave us time to settle in and plan for the rest of our stay. The house has a whole-house filtration system which we appreciated! Our kids (19, 16 & 11) each had their own space but the cozy couches in the living room were great when we all just wanted to hang out together. Kroger is only a 5-10 minute walk or quick drive for groceries. The neighborhood is safe and neighbors friendly. We also loaded up our wagon for a walk to the seawall and beach. Driveable beaches on the West end of Galveston Island are only 20 minutes away and quieter than those on the seawall. We were also in a perfect location to explore all the amazing restaurants, both walkable and a short drive, and the Strand, Ship Channel and Moody Gardens. The Coastal Cottage truly is a perfect location for any adventures on Galveston Island- and there are SO many!

Charming Cottage

A charming place to rest a weary body. Excellent for families with the master bedroom on one end and the other three down the hall. If television is a vacation necessity there are plenty. Living area is large and quite cozy. One small eating area and an additional area for family dining.The kitchen is well stocked, pots and pans are in excellent condition. Cold and freezer items will find themselves in an above average refrigerator. Believe it or not there were more than two towels and a dish cloth in the kitchen.The over all condition was very clean, bathrooms were well stocked with towels, and large dispensers for soaps and lotions.We would definitely stay at this cottage again. This is not our first VRBO stay, previously more like twelve times, and this place rates above our other experiences. Mary Lou, Dick and Family

Coastal Cottage - A Great Place

Booked 4 days at thr Coastal Cottage. The house was clean, had plenty of room and all of the standard supplies we needed in the bathrooms and kitchen. Close to the beach and lots of restaurants. We will definitely be booking again next time we come to Galveston.
