Welcome cruise guests! Looking for a single night’s stay? We can accommodate that. But we also offer discounts for multi-night stays as well. Comfortable brand new furnishings throughout the pet-friendly newly renovated home. King beds are provided for both front bedrooms and a twin/full bunk bed for the kiddos. This home offers two full baths fully furnished with towels and beach towels for trips to the various Galveston beaches that are only minutes away. When coming back from trips to the nearby Historic Strand District, an elegant Cherry wood kitchen island countertop in the open concept living, dining & kitchen spaces will invite quality family time in this conveniently located home. Overall our family enjoyed our stay the night before our cruise. Really appreciated the cruise parking offered and were able to easily get an UberXL to pick us and all our luggage up! We did have trouble getting in the door (key code no working) at first but Dante was quick to answer and provided another solution (lock box with key) to access the property quickly and easily. He was quick to respond to any inquiries we had. Other reviews had mentioned the neighborhood not feeling safe - I totally disagree and we felt perfectly comfortable and safe the whole time. Yes there are a couple neighbors with messier properties nearby but it is also an older neighborhood with tons of historical homes nearby. We appreciate the character of a neighborhood like that! The property was large and kitchen and bathrooms contained everything we needed plus more. It was clean and beds were comfortable.My only complaint is we booked this location because it stated it slept 10 but that is not accurate. We had 6 total, my husband and I plus 4 children ages 21-13. There are 2 king beds and a twin over full bunk bed. Our 17 year old son didn’t want to sleep in a bed with one of his sisters so he slept on the couch and was comfortable but there was no extra bedding anywhere to truly consider the couch a bed. Not a big deal for us - we made it work. But something to be more aware of for larger groups. Again overall great experience and would stay again.

The property was just as explained in the description. There were stickers in the living room carpet and my granddaughter got one stuck in her foot. We looked the carpet over and found a few more. We hadn’t been anywhere to bring them in - so must have been there already.When we arrived I had trouble unlocking the door (operator error). I messaged Dante. By time he responded we were already inside. We were only there one night for a pre-cruise stay but overall the property met our needs.

You can tell they put money in to update, but it's already got some flaws. Guest room with king, ceiling fan wouldn't work. Front door jams and frame coming apart. Location is iffy. You can tell the neighborhood is trying. But I wouldn't have wanted to stay longer than the night we needed.

The house is very comfortable, clean and spacious enough for 8+ people. Owners of the property are very accommodating and friendly in communication. Location's drawback: no public transportation (or anything else: stores, restaurants, etc.) in the radius of < 15 minutes of walk and Galveston's summer weather makes the walking hardly desirable activity.

Be sure to check the area before booking, family with two grandkids age 5 and I felt very uncomfortable being in the area, never got out of the truck, could not even turn into the very small drive and was on a single lane side street with only one way in and out.

Property was easy to find. It was very clean and laid out well. We enjoyed the coffee! We were disappointed that we couldn’t find the TV remote. But all in all, it’s a great place. Very close to the port terminal.

What a wonderful stay. From traveling to arrive and during our stay, Dante was easy to communicate and on top of questions. We were able to drop our luggage off a little early and went out to explore. On our return the property was clean and cool. Close to the Strand and cruise port but easy enough to drive to the beach and Walmart as well. We would definitely be willing to stay again if we are back in Galveston. Thank you Dante for a great pre-cruise rental.

Great place to stay prior to your cruise!

The house was very close to the terminals, restaurants and the beach! It was clean and the pictures looks just like it does in person. They had items available that I didn't realize I would need (coffee & creamer) which was great! Dante recommended several restaurants and we chose one. It was just several blocks away and right on the beach. The food was great and fast.

Neighborhood was sketchy. House was partially remodeled and felt barren. Not much in the way of decorating. Very little kitchen supplies. We hade to use an old mixing bowl to make a salad. Condiments were sparse and what there was, were very old. Backyard and front yard were both overtaken with weeds. Would not stay here again.
