Close to playgrounds, Whole Foods, restaurants, theaters and other popular Philadelphia historical attractions including the Convention Center and Independence Hall all within walking distance from the quiet residential street. Close to all the action of South Street and Ave of the Arts yet tucked away for peace and quiet! Hosted by a 5 STAR SUPERHOST*****
We also provide a pack and play, high chair and baby gates for the steep stairs. The TV is a 50" smart TV with built in Roku. Our host was very attentive.We arrived and parked our car in the garage. It never moved again until we headed home. Every place can be walked to from this central location.

This home was very functional and the location made it walkable to all the major areas in the city. We used the Big Bus hop on hop off service to site see. It was great. Our hosts were great!

Nice spot in a completely amazing neighborhood. Our host addressed every question quickly, super helpful. The house is small but will sleep six. Limited sitting and gathering spaces and tight stairwells for anyone with limited mobility. Most of all, we were looking for three bedrooms because our two teens value their own space. One of the three bedrooms, however, is a loft inside the master bedroom (see photo). We still had a good stay.

Great Base to explore Philly

We hit the major historical sites around Philly (Independence Hall, Eastern State Penitentiary, USS New Jersey and Reading Terminal Market). All easily accessible from this property. Comfortably slept 6 in our group. Would definitely recommend!

Anne was a very attentive host, making sure we had everything we needed and was quick to respond to any questions. The girls (teen-preteen) loved the loft and having the upper floor to themselves. My husband and I took the bedroom with 2 twin beds, we loved that both bedrooms had a bathroom. The house had everything we needed for our stay, after a busy city day we enjoyed playing the board games in the living room. The location was close to many great restaurants and grocery/convenience stores. Having garage parking in the city that didn’t cost extra was a win! I would definitely stay here again, the house had a lot of charm!

Great place in Central Philly

Anne & Ariel are wonderful hosts who were very flexible with our arrival time and extremely responsive to our questions. The townhouse is walking distance to several nice restaurants and the historic district. The house has modern appliances but has retained the historic charm of the neighborhood.Just be aware, this house will NOT accommodate anyone with mobility issue due to 2 very steep, narrow staircases. My husband is 73 with some knee "issues". He managed ok, but just be aware.Would def stay there again.

Misleading - does not sleep 7

The property is great. Clean and well kept. The host is very quick to respond and maintains excellent communication. The house is not acceptable for 7 people. We had 5 adults and it was not comfortable for us to gather as a group to sit and relax. The area for gathering was good for 4 as was the bedroom situation but not for having dinner and just relaxing.

The house and neighborhood are charming and historic. Good location for visiting ALL the museums. The house was clean; the beds comfy; the host very responsive.
