Adorable flat that is located right on Washington Ave. You just walk down your steps and your on the hottest area Houston has to offer with Nightclubs, Restaurants and Bars up and down the strip. House was just recently renovated. Book today because it won’t be available long!

For long term stays maid service is not provided. You will have to take sheets to the laundromat yourself. Additional supplies can be purchased at Walmart nearby.

There were roaches in the kitchen. The bathroom was falling apart (towel hook just fell out of the wall, the shower curtain rod fell on my head when I was showering, etc). The place smelled musty. We felt catfished from the pictures.

Great location on Washington Ave. It’s noisy, but that’s to be expected for the location. Shower can be better, but overall very good accommodation for the price.

Very comfortable stay. Well equipped apt that had everything I needed. Great location near grocery store, cafes, restaurant's, etc. I would defiantly stay here again at this reasonable price.

Property was very disappointing. The instructions for check in and parking were incorrect. I was told to text a number to pick up the keys for the unit. I texted around noon the day of asking if I could check in early. I didn’t hear back so I tried again at 3:30 to inform the host I was on the way and called her but there was no answer and I was unable to leave a voicemail. I was told to use a code for free parking, but on the site there was nowhere to put a code. I reached out to the host via the site and I was informed of the door code and was told which spot to park in. When I entered the unit, I went to use the bathroom and found only one towel, partially filled soap and body wash containers and NO toilet paper. I also saw hairs in the sink, shower, and on the toilet. I had driven 3 hours and needed to get ready for dinner that evening, so I was beyond frustrated to find the VRBO in unsatisfactory conditions. I contacted the host again and informed him of the situation and he told me that the maid was doing laundry but was coming back soon. Nearly THREE HOURS went by and she finally came back with newly purchased (NOT freshly washed) towels and only one roll of toilet paper so we had to buy more. Later, I noticed the property also has a roach infestation. There were baby cockroaches in the trash can in the kitchen and they didn’t have extra trash bags. I am surprised this place has so many positive reviews but it must be under new management now. Would not recommend.

Roaches everywhere. Not cleaned daily despite my messages. Stay only if you're looking for a budget-friendly place for a couple of nights. The neighborhood is fine, with a HEB nearby and a plethora of bars and restaurants to chill out.

Prefect location

Overall, this place worked for my needs. Sarah was great. Stayed in communication. Loved the charm of the house. Definitely suitable for a party of three max. For the property to be on a main street it was quiet. The property doesn’t have a closet, but there are a few drawers in the nightstand. Also no iron, but I travel with my own so not a dealbreaker. No washer in dryer to do a quick fluff n go, so plan accordingly. Nice upgrades throughout, which I appreciated. Parking wasn’t bad, but it is in the lot next door - but not an inconvenience. The only thing I struggled with was the burglar door sticking. Other than that I would stay again.

Convenience on a busy street

The place was clean. Tho area rugs very dirty, stained. Few amenities for cooking, etc. Bed linens definitely need to be dumped. Fitted sheet felt very bumpy, scratchy. Top,sheet paper thin. Only had one pillow case for the 2 pillows provided. Convenient location on a busy street with lots of traffic noise
