Overall the hosts (Aldo and his wife) were very friendly. The rental is a basement unit (notice the windows). There was a standing air conditioning unit for the whole rental unit Iocated in the living room. The bedrooms were very warm and damp/humid feeling (no option to close windows). Recommend a dehumidifier. 2nd and 3rd bedroom have no windows, 3rd bedroom no electrical outlets. Listing should state that the grill and laundry is shared by all units on the property. Overall decent value for the money. Bathroom and kitchen were good. Overall needs some upgrades to make it a 5 star.

We had a wonderful stay in Beverly, MA! The space was spotless and very well maintained, which made us feel comfortable right away. Aldo was extremely communicative and helpful throughout our stay, making everything smooth and stress-free. We especially loved how close the location was to the train—it made getting around so easy. The neighborhood was friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again!

The property was clean and as advertised. The walls are very thin, so there was a lot of noise from the people upstairs. My only real complaint was trying to get a hold of the host to get check in instructions. I had to send multiple emails. Finally after leaving a message on his voicemail he called me back and I got instructions 2 hours before my check in time. After finally getting in touch, his communication improved.

It’s a lovely apartment, quite cozy, and very clean. The weighted blankets on the beds were awesome! Communication with Aldo was quick and easy. Would definitely stay again. Only thing to be mindful of is that it’s the bottom floor, which means that you hear the people above moving around.

This is a hidden gem! If you’re visiting Salem, do yourself a favor and stay in Beverly at Aldo‘s. Everything was first rate. Super clean, host was super attentive to any questions. We loved every minute of our stay. Thank you, Aldo.!

This was a great property. We enjoyed Salem and Beverly. There are tons of places within walking distance in Beverly and a quick Skipper/Uber drive to Salem. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of seating for our group of 5 adults. Communication was great with Aldo, who even messaged us throughout our stay to ensure all was great. I hope your stay is as fabulous as ours!

Spacious, 3 bedrooms, with good size kitchen/dinning/living room area. Very clean. Neighborhood quite, walking distance to eateries and beach. Parking was a little tight and dishes/utensils/glasses were sparse, but for the weekend/event we were attending we managed. Communication with the owner was excellent! We would definitely stay there again.

The Wedding Stay

the location is very convenient to many amenities and easy to get to. It is a quiet neighborhood and a sort walk to the beach, I wish I had a fishing pole. this location appears to be relatively new or it is well maintained with plenty of amenities.

Close to Salem

Only a few minutes from Salem. The place was clean and perfect for 6 people. The shower was pleasant after a full day of walking Salem. The property manager was great to work with and answered all my questions.

Overall, this place is fantastic. Very clean, plenty of space, quality beds, bedding, furniture, and appliances. Everything feels brand new. Owner was fairly responsive.A couple things for guests to note before they arrive:- The apartment is located in the basement floor, and the entrance is down a hill and around the corner on a different street from the rest of the apartments and parking lot. If you have any mobility issues or a lot of luggage to load in/out, this may be an issue. - Kitchen trash can is tiny. Bring trash bags. - The laundry is not in the apartment, but up and around in one of the upstairs doors. There is no laundry basket included, so you would need to find a way to bring your laundry up there (we didn’t). - We weren’t going panning on using it anyway, but the listing says there is a “spa/hot tub” which we didn’t see. I presume that is also in a shared indoor space upstairs somewhere, as it was not outside. - The entrance key pad is not self-explanatory. Contact the owner before arrival and have him explain it to you in detail.- The AC is one powerful unit in the living room. It does not reach the bedrooms unless the doors are left open, and the front bedroom has a hard time staying cool.- There are only enough plates/bowls/glasses/silverware for four people, and we had six. Plan ahead for that if you need to. There are also no coffee mugs, just paper cups for coffee. - The provided Kuerig and K-cups were very good, and included cups and sugar

Property was very clean. Had a very minor issue w a wet rug. I bring it up because w/in minutes of emailing Aldo, he had someone in to clean up and replace the rug! Aldo quickly responded to all my questions before and during our stay. Check-in was a breeze, keypad entry. Kitchen had what we needed. Bathroom was practically new, shower excellent, plenty of towels for all. Plenty of room, large, open living room, bedrooms nice size. Parking right outside. AC worked great, which was key in July! Looked exactly as shown on VRBO website. Location was perfect for my family reunion close by. It’s walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. Quiet, safe location. I would recommend this property for anyone looking to stay in the area. Much better (and more reasonable) than local hotels. I would definitely stay again!

This stay in Beverly was exactly what we were looking for. The apartment was clean, well stocked, and in a GREAT location! The host was very communicative and we had no issues during our stay. We would definitely rebook if we ever need another stay in the area.

There was a little parking situation and next to no outlets in the twin bedroom but otherwise I thought everything was excellent. The home was clean and aesthetic, the beds had great pillows and blankets (even a weighted one!), there was a stock of items in the bathroom as though we were at a hotel (though we could have used a spare roll of toilet paper I happened to have packed one so no real issue for us), and the furniture was comfortable enough that one of us dozed off on the couch. Overall I thought for the price it was fantastic only 10mins out of downtown Salem and the beach, I wasn’t a fan of Massachusetts itself but if you are going this is a great choice for a place to stay.
