Bigfoot’s Lair (In the Heart of the Hills)

Must be 25 years or older to rent this property. The guest on the reservation must be present at check-in with photo ID which matches address and credit card used. The guest must be present during the complete stay.

Pet friendly with additional fees $30 + tax per night. 1 pet only.

A rental agreement will need signed upon booking and a Refundable Damage Deposit of $300 will be charged to your credit card 3 days prior to arrival. This deposit will be fully refunded within 3 days after checkout, provided there are no damages or policy violations.

Trip Cancellation & Travel Insurance Program options available for purchase when booking a stay not less than 30 days before check in date.

Bigfoot Lair is about 5 minutes to Rock House, 6 minutes to Conkles Hollow and 19 minutes to Old Man's Cave. 1 private bedroom with a King bed. There is a sleeper sofa and a flat screen Tv in the main room. Come relax in the hot tub and gaze at the open sky. We have a propane and a charcoal grill.

Exterior security cameras are in use at this property at parking area.

The driveway is flat on this property. A four wheel drive or front wheel drive vehicle is suggested during the snowy months.

Great stay! Temperatures were unbearable so couldn’t enjoy being outside much and being in the hot tub, but that’s life! The inside of cabin was cozy, but very small. All the appliances and stuff were in good working order, bed was comfy! The outside area was nice with the inclosed garage like cover with the hot tub and ping pong! Way to go to you guys!!

A short distance from our 2 day little getaway to Hocking Hills State Park. Loved it as soon as we saw the site.

The cabin was very clean, the hot tub area with ping pong and corn hole was awesome. It’s only 15 minutes from great hiking. If I had one minor critique I would say having a small cooktop with a couple of pots/pans would make this perfect. Overall fantastic!

Left early due to WiFi going down couldn’t watch tv and cell service is spotty, shower wasn’t clean someone’s hair stuck to the wall. Don’t think there will be another visit .:

We do have a dedicated maintenance line for issues like this, but unfortunately the guest never contacted it during their stay. When we arrived after checkout, the Wi-Fi had simply been knocked off the table and unplugged from the wall, sitting on the floor. We plugged it back in and everything resumed working as it should. The hair in the shower was clearly something the housekeeper accidentally missed.

Overall the cabin was very clean and the hot tub was as great! The only this we wished was better was the water pressure. It was not very strong and had became muddy at the end of our stay resulting in us not being able to shower before our departure. Otherwise it was a comfy quiet cabin with plenty of privacy!

Perfect for 2 to 3 people

It's a small, well outfitted cabin, close to the road with a privacy fence. Between the cabin and road is an enclosed recreational area, which has a picnic table, hot tub, ping pong table, dart board and corn hole game. My 17 year old grandson and I loved this, especially because it was rainy during our stay.

Cute cabin

Cute cabin but the bed was so uncomfortable we left our vacation early. Not the most ideal location either as it is off a busy road.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you found the cabin cute, but we're truly sorry to hear that the bed impacted your stay. Mattress comfort is a very personal preference, and while we’ve chosen medium to medium-firm mattresses as they seem to suit most guests, we understand they may not work for everyone especially someone that is used to a very soft bed. As for the location, the cabin has a building between the road and the house and also a privacy fence. Also is just minutes from major attractions like Rock House (5 min), Conkles Hollow 6 min), and Hocking Hills State Park (11 min), with dining and groceries only 16 minutes away. We’re always looking for ways to improve and truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts.
