Stunning three bedroom house in Chelsea

Set back from a central London street, inside this large, high ceiling three bedroom house offers calm and quiet, yet is only seconds walk from the bustling restaurants, bars, shops and cinemas of the trendy ¨Beach¨ area of the Fulham Road. It is also just minutes walk away from the Kings Road and River Thames and the amenities and museums of South Kensington. This Victorian house has recently been extensively modernized, opening up walls to make the rooms large, bright and airy and decorated by an interior designer to offer modern furnishings and original artwork whilst retaining its original charm. Spread over the four floors are a modern kitchen with large dining area, a double living room with several sofas, flat screen TV, DVD etc, a large master bedroom with luxury ensuite bathroom, two further double bedrooms and a further bathroom. The house has its own, totally secluded, 50 foot garden at the rear as well as off street parking to the front.

This home was beautiful and comfortable. The outside area was tranquil to sit in while drinking coffee in the mornings. Bus was very convenient from right in front. We were very happy. Only negative would be the bath towels are small and there are no body wash.

Access to London transportation was excellent.House is well appointed This is not the fault of anyone, but in the extreme London heat during our stay the house got very hot. We would suggest portable air conditioners at least in the upper bedrooms.

This house is very homey…10 out-of-10!Great space, very clean, lovely art, large en suite, very well stocked kitchen, fantastic outdoor space, easy trash/recycling pick up, owners were a pleasure to work with. Close to many restaurants and shopping, easy walk to Earl’s Court and Kensington Tube stations, bus pick up directly in front of house. There is a hospital near by but we noticed they turn sirens down at night! (polite British) The activity and bussel is present but London is a busy, lively city and we felt like a part of it living, for a month, in this neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay. Hosts were very attentive and responsive. Home was beautiful, very clean and very inviting. Location was near everything you could need, restaurants, convenient stores, coffee shops, even a hospital which explained the sirens. Just be aware if you have trouble with mobility, stair climbing is mandatory. Taxis are easy to come by. For a sophisticated stay, highly recommended. Can't wait to return.

Beautiful townhome in charming neighborhood

This townhome was beautifully decorated and worked well for my multigenerational family trip to London. The owner was very responsive. The bus stop was right outside the fence, and made it super easy to get around. The courtyard was so nice to hang out in after a long day. The kitchen was very well stocked. I would highly recommend this property!

House was nice and clean. Only one shower, so that was difficult to coordinate with five adults. Location was loud at times due to proximity of hospital down the street. Not very close to tube stations, but didn't matter as the the tube was on strike during our visit.Safe and secure location.

Once upon a time in Chelsea

For my first time in London, couldn't ask for a better location or residence. Absolutely loved it & the neighborhood. The house is decorated in a fun and lively manner and we especially enjoyed the beautiful garden.

We found the centrally located house on Fulham Road spacious, comfortable, lovely and very clean, and we were happy there for our just-over-a-week stay. It is laid out on four levels so be prepared for a lot of up and down on the stairs. It is tastefully furnished in simple uncluttered modernity. All four beds were comfy, though the bed on the fourth floor seemed more a full than a true queen size.All-in-all, a comfortable, welcoming house. One caveat: not enough room to hang up one’s coats! That little space behind the curved wall would fit a coat tree nicely.
