This was a lovely house near Battersea Park, situated near bus and train lines, though a bit too far to walk to many London hot spots.The hosts were very responsive to our questions and the house had everything we needed. In the very hot weather, the air conditioning was very nice!!

I’m so glad you enjoyed the house and that the air conditioning came in handy during the London heat 😊 Just to help future guests with the location, the house is in Zone 2 and very well connected. Big Ben, Westminster and Buckingham Palace can be around 14 minutes by car, depending of course on the time of day and London traffic. Wimbledon tennis is just 12 minutes away. For attractions within a 20 minute walk you have the King’s Road, Chelsea, Battersea Park, Battersea Power Station and Clapham Common 🥳 It’s probably worth mentioning that London’s main attractions are quite spread out, so even when staying very centrally, many of the major sights aren’t all considered walkable. Public transport or a short taxi journey is generally part of exploring London wherever you stay. Thank you again, it was a pleasure having you and I’d be very happy to welcome you back ❤️

Had a really lovely stay here, the place felt fresh, well looked after and exactly as described. We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was for such a central London location and slept really well. Great little pub a few doors down too, the food was a highlight. Communication was smooth throughout and we would happily stay again.

LOVE!! Cozy, happy, beautiful, clean, safe, bright, and fun home! We stayed for 3 nights and wished we had more time here! Great access to see all of London! The host is friendly, organized, and attentive! The home is so charming! We highly recommend staying at this amazing home!

Beautiful home, very communicative host, and right next to plenty of great cafes and bus stops! The body was gracious and understanding enough to let us drop our bags off early and even check out a bit late.

Very nice place. Spacious for our family of 4. Modern and clean. Had a nice gym which we didn’t use : ). The location works for us (10 minutes walk to train, 5 to buses). Close to restaurants. The Fox and Hound was a minute outside our door. Went there for dinner and brews a few times. Very convenient. Host checked-in with us to make sure everything was good. Nice to have AC especially how hot it was in London. Overall, I would recommend. Only 2 things we didn’t like: supplies: no shampoo/body wash/dishwasher soup/paper towels. Had to go buy our own. The washer/dryer was very frustrating to use. The dryer cycle especially.

The host was helpful and sent information on area transportation and restaurants located within short walks. Nicely upgraded house. We stayed for 3 weeks- going on several day trips- and nice to have one spot to call home!

Excellent VRBO experience!The property was entirely "As Advertised" and perfect for our party of 5-adults.There was mention of a "recent renovation"...and the results are outstanding! All the fixtures and finishes are absolutely gorgeous.It's a bit of a walk (10 minutes) but transport, groceries and restaurants are all nearby. The staff at the Fox and Hounds (nearby pub) were so welcoming to us as well.However, it's easy to identify the BEST part of our visit: The Host's communication.We landed at Heathrow at before 7am and we were given the choice of multiple Check-In options to accommodate our group of weary, sleep-deprived travelers.Any questions we had about the property (before booking AND before arrival AND during our stay) were answered promptly. Even when our car hire plan fell apart at the last minute, the host offered suggestions and alternatives.Would certainly book again!!

The accomodations were perfect for a small family vacation looking for a well maintained and classically elegant home away from home. Brief stay in London

We were pleasantly surprised to see that the listing lived up to the pictures. The facilities were very updated. The local pub was fantastic. It was also super easy to work with the owner was super easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay.

Great house

Warm, cosy house. Great location to get anywhere by train. Great to stay In or go out to great restaurants . Be Mellissa is a great host. Small room in the back with weights was ideal for me.

I bought the house back in 2008. In 2020 we did a huge renovation on the property extending it both out and up, bringing a lot more light into the house and giving it a modern but homely feel.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Battersea park is 10 minutes to your left and Clapham Common is 10 minutes walk to your right. My family are also from Hampshire and so that means my house was only a train ride away from the countryside was a real selling point.
