Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is perfect for our family of 4 (2 kids). Each kid has their own bed. The condo is very well appointed and decorated. Beds are very comfortable. View of the beach is perfect. Balcony furniture is very comfortable. West end of PCB is quiet but still accessible to family activities: water park, restaurants, shopping, Pier Park, arcade. Parking garage is very important in hot weather. Turns are tight but we can still make it in our full size truck. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Visit information on the app is all inclusive and exceptional. We love this condo and will continue to come back to it.

March 2018 Stay

Beautiful property equipped with everything you would ever need. Beach service was a big plus. This end of the beach is not crazy busy, but good to have a “home base” each day. Condo is well-equipped and very comfortable and relaxing. The balcony is great! We had many breakfasts, dinners and just time relaxing on it. From the balcony, you can see sting-rays and an occasional dolphin siting as well as gorgeous sunsets. Thanks for making our first trip the PCB so fabulous!

We had a group of 6 and had plenty of room for everyone. There were plenty of amenities in the unit right down to the sand castle kit! We even left a few boogie boards for the next renter. Rental process was easy. No contact check in and out with covered parking! We will most certainly will be back!

Short stay

Tropic Winds was our go to for PCB. Our normal condo was already taken. This was a last minute trip I literally booked a week before arrival. Gretas beach rentals was easy to deal with and got back to us fast. The condo was clean and exactly as described. We go for the beach which Greta’s has no control over. The beach in the past was very clean however this trip it was cluttered with trash literally beer cans, plastic zip lock bags, too many to count plastic handles off of kids buckets and the amount of cigarette butts was ridiculous. We have been going to Tropic Winds since 2015 very disappointed in the cleanliness of the beach. We will a different condo next time and will use Gretas Beach rentals again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our week-long stay in this condo. The unit was clean, modern, and recently updated with new paint and carpeting. The unit was quiet and had a great gulf view with a large patio. The bathroom layout was modern with plenty of countertop space. Closets and dresser storage were adequate with plenty of hangers. The bed was comfortable and we slept as good as if we were at home. The ice maker kept up with no trouble and the washer/dryer was nice to have. The only negative comment I would have is the GFCI circuits in the unit are very sensitive and you will want to check when you plug in a phone or tablet that the outlet hasn't been tripped. This happened several times but did not detract from our stay. We would definitely return to this condo in the future! Thank you for a great week.

Just OK

This condo is in a good part of town, just outside of main part of PCB. The condo is in good shape for the most part, but we did have some issues. When we arrived, I noticed that the cookware and cooking utensils where old and worn out. There were no sharp knifes at all and no way to sharpen the ones that were there. I did send the rental company an email and they brought out some new Walmart pots, pans, and knife set. It was nice of them to do this, but this is not something I should have to worry about. The TV in the guest bedroom is unwatchable because the picture freezes all the time. The pool is very small for the size of the complex. The last thing that bugged me was that the condo says that it is not pet friendly, but every time I swept, there was tons of dog hair. If you are allergic to pet dander, do not rent this condo. I guess maybe the owners have pets. They say that if something is wrong with the place to call and they will send the cleaning crew back out, but for the price of this place, it should be done right the first time. I am here to relax, not to waste my time trying to get things done that should have already been done.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Decided last minute to take a short vacation to the beach to escape some gloomy & rainy weather in MO. Boy are we glad we did! It was a perfect getaway from the second we got to our condo until the morning we left. We are very picky people when it comes to cleanliness & decor & I honestly wouldn't change a thing. The room was immaculately clean, the decor has a modern beachy vibe, and everything works as it should. We especially loved the many organizational helpers scattered throughout such as storage baskets and large wall hooks. These come in very handy. Our unit was on the 12th floor which gave a really great view of the beach and shoreline. We enjoyed our coffee out on the oversized balcony in the morning and then at night we toasted the sunsets with wine. Balcony was well equipped with two lounge chairs and a nice dining table at which we enjoyed several nice dinners. The property was easy to navigate and was well attended by personnel making sure only those who are staying at the Tropic Winds are the ones using the facilities. The beach area here is perfect! Extremely clean and not crowded at all. Sand was powdery white, water clear, and we had no use for water shoes. John, the property manager, was very helpful and accomodating. He was quick to answer any question we may have had. We had an extra guest arrive and he decided to stay with us a few nights. He was quick to get us an extra parking pass and wrist band. We did not eat out much but when we did we tried Salty Sue's which is just around the corner from our condo. Had a great meal here (fish tacos were amazing) and was reasonably priced. The rest of the time we barbequed on one of the property's gas grills and/or made dinner in the well equipped kitchen. If I'm going to find any flaw whatsoever, it would be the lack of a good non-stick frying pan in the kitchen. This is so minor but would be appreciated! We will definitely be going back s

Beautiful Week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We could not have asked for a more beautiful week at PCB! Our condo was the same, it was exactly as the pics are shown. Normally there’s always something in a condo that we have to clean or wait on the cleaning company, I even brought some of my own cleaner from home. To my surprise, I never had to use them. Tropic Winds 1208 is probably the cleanest condo we have ever stayed in. We didn’t have to do anything but enjoy this beautiful condo! The staff at Greta’s beach rentals were very easy to work with and very nice. I would recommend Greta’s Beach Rentals to everyone coming to PCB. We have been going to PCB for along time and we love staying on the west end, a lot less crowded. I would definitely recommend Tropic Winds 1208!

Perfect For Us

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are a family of 4. We stayed 3 nights and the condo was perfect for us. The master had a view of the ocean from the room. The guest room had two full size beds giving the kids their own bed. The balcony was spacious with a large table and an excellent view of the beach and water. The kitchen had everything we needed. The layout is great with a closet for the beach supplies right by the door so you don't track so much sand. The condo had blankets, towels, extras that made it perfectly homey. Parking undercover to stay out of the sun was a bonus. The walk to the beach was short. This was the first time I had a question for the property management company and they were extremely responsive and professional.

We loved the balcony that overlooked the beach. Every morning we drank coffee on the balcony, listening to the waves crash and looking for marine life. Even with the busy holiday weekend, everything was rather calm and enjoyable. We will be back. Thank you!
