Use to be property owner in The Territory. Miss it very much but this was excellent opportunity to re-live those days and re-connect with this wonderful area - shops, people we have know and Great restaurants. Nice little get away for the two of us. Would consider renting again.

We love the screen in porch area...so relaxing for morning coffee watching the wildlife and hearing the birds. The kitchen was well stocked with all the amenities too!

Perfect place for a friends getaway. We lucked into Octemberfest weekend, so there was plenty to do; hiking, shopping, food, drinks and music. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed.

We recently stayed at this VRBO and overall had a pleasant experience. The property is in a quiet, secluded location, yet still conveniently close to town. It offered a peaceful retreat, which we really appreciated.There are a few areas that could use some attention. The front walkway could benefit from better lighting—especially at night—and a few of the bricks are loose or falling and may need to be redone for safety. Inside, the space was comfortable, but we did notice one spot in the living room carpet that hadn’t been vacuumed and had some food or debris left behind. A little more thorough cleaning would go a long way.One of the bathrooms has two sinks, which is great, but only one mirror. It might be worth considering replacing the window with an additional mirror to make it more functional for two people.Despite these minor issues, the home itself is very nice and we would definitely consider staying again. With a few small improvements, it could easily be a five-star stay.

The location of the home is wonderful but the home itself is in need of a serious update and deep clean. I have stayed in Eagle Ridge several times. This was not a home I would stay in again.

So nice and peaceful!

This was beautiful! It was peaceful and nice. The front screen door sticks and bottom corner didn’t close all the way. I would recommend offering throw blankets, and replacing the coffee pot. It took an hour to brew 8cups of coffee. Overall, this property was amazing. It was hard to find the extra amenities, more signs throughout the property would be great! I would come back.

Great, relaxing stay

We had a great time here when we met up with another couple to catch up and relax. We did one activity each day and the rest of the time we spent relaxing, catching up, playing games, and cooking meals together. Two bedroom-two bathroom setup was great as each couple had their own. Steps were not mentioned and could be a problem for seniors but we found pretty much everything we needed in cookware, etc. It was my first stay in a VRBO and we were pleasantly surprised at the provisions! We'd gladly stay again in this property as it was very quiet and peaceful, which was just what we wanted! It was horribly hot so we didn't use the screen porch but it looked like a lovely place to sit and enjoy a beverage if the weather is great!

Great Get Away

Home was nice. We were surprised when we walked into the upper level of the home and had to walk down a flight of stairs to the main level. Not sure if that was mentioned in the description. We did not use any of the property amenities but did enjoy the quiet location and fireplace.

We had a perfect ladies getaway in the Galena territory area. We did the TwentyDirtyHands pottery tour & it was great! The accommodations were overall good. The electrical switches would occasionally trip but we would reset the ground fault and they were fine. Great location-quiet. Best memory -the sunny screen porch with a glass of wine on Saturday before a wonderful dinner in Galena.

Cozy & Quiet

Driving through Galena Territory to the location of this relaxing and cozy home touches all senses. The sights of the beautiful fall colors, rustling of the leaves, then opening the door to this beautiful and inviting home is good for the soul. This lovely home offered every amenity. The host provided a well stocked library, games and a beautiful screened in porch. Perfect to start the day with a cup of coffee or a glass of evening wine with the sound of owls having a conversation in the background! This home is definitely one of our favorites!

Nice, quiet, but a lot of stairs

Exterior could use maintenance, sun room dusty (but nice to use), inside nice but a lot of stairs from door to 1st floor (we're seniors). Heat/Cool worked fine, bed/bedding great, kitchen chairs hard, could use better cushions. Wi-Fi great. Furniture fine. Didn't cook, so can't rate the kitchen. Fridge fine. TV's in all rooms (didn't use though, used our tablets, phones - already setup). Nice place as a hangout to visit Galena, and the casino. Parking right in front, and the trees provided shade (and no sap either), room for 2 cars. GPS worked fine in the area. Cell service good here too. Brought our own small Keurig (from experience at other rentals). Overall, a nice place to stay, if you don't mind the stairs.
