Nestled in Purcellville, this delightful cottage offers a fabulous retreat for guests on 12 gorgeous acres with a 2 acre stocked fishing pond (catch and release only please). Our cozy 1 -bedroom cottage features a queen bed and a charming living room (w/queen sofa sleeper). Ample space in this Open Floor Plan that includes a breakfast bar in the Kitchen that's open to a Diningarea /Living Room with full dining table and chairs for 6 people, a Queen Sofa Sleeper and a very comfy oversized chair. This marvelous property is perfect for a peaceful getaway. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like a full kitchen with full sized gas range/oven and microwave, coffee maker and bean grinder, mixer, blender, and all the cooking utensils you need along with a gas grill right outside the door for guest use. Lightning-Fast Broadband WiFi, Central Heat / AC, as well as a full bathtub w/ shower in the spacious bathroom. It even has an onsite Washer / Dryer, an iron and ironing board, and convenient reserved guest parking right next to the cottage door. It also has a sunroom/screened porch for those times you want to enjoy those cooler evenings and a summer breeze.

I am very sorry to hear that. You never brought that to our attention, even though I specifically checked in with you about our rental. We have always had high marks for our cleaning service and so your experience is pretty unusual. In fact, we have an average cleanliness score of 4.74 points out of 5 points and so your take on it is definitely out of the normative standard. While I am sorry that this was your experience, I was in the unit shortly after you checked out and I simply cannot agree with your assessment (and two star clean - seriously - have you stayed in a hotel)? Also, I have to say that I’m pretty shocked you gave us a 2 out of 5 star overall rating just because it wasn’t quite as clean as you thought it should be! Doing so ignores the entire scoring process and seriously penalizes the host despite the great efforts most hosts put into providing an extremely pleasant overall experience for our guests. Furthermore, when a host asks you how your stay is and you feel like the property isn’t cleaned properly, that’s the time to tell the host what the issue is, because it’s only time they hav a chance to do something about it. Complaining after the fact just means that YOU don’t have the stay that you’d hoped for and I don’t get to provide the high standard of guest accommodations I like to provide. We both lose! Next time you stay isn’t what you’d hoped, do let the host know and they will likely either rectify or mitigate the problem to whatever extent possible:

Enjoyed our stay in this cute and very clean cottage. We were in ground floor rental. There is also a rental on the 2nd floor. Separate parking spaces for each unit. Kitchen well stocked. Lots of thoughtful touches. Lovely property. Host very nice and helpful.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host was extraordinarily welcoming from the moment I arrived. They provided clear, detailed directions to the property, which made everything so easy. They also offered excellent suggestions on places to go, local attractions to visit, and hidden gems in the area. Host was very welcoming and accomodating, providing a lot of information ahead of time about local sites and restaurants. The house has a lot of amenities, which were appreciated, including toiletries, paper products, medicines, towels, and sheets. The house was located close to Purcellville and we were able to get to so many places quickly, including civil war sites, breweries, and hikes. While there were people in the apartment above us, I could rarely hear them and never saw them. No issues with other renters onsite and the main house was close, but, again, it never felt like they were there.I would stay again.

Very clean, very cozy, and very well appointed. Had everything we needed and then some. Lots of towels, extra bedding,, and a well stocked kitchen. We really appreciated access to streaming services. And the setting was beautiful. The only downside was the bed.. I like a firm bed, but this one can only be described as hard. We went to Walmart and got a pad, and that helped a lot. Other than that, it was great

I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. I was a little disappointed you deducted an entire star because you didn’t like the bed. Yours is the first complaint I’ve ever had about the bed. It is an average firmness. We cannot for to hard or too soft because we are trying to accommodate the majority of people and I suspect your are way outside the Bell Curve on this. There isn’t much I can do about that, but I feel like docking me a star because the bed wasnt your perfect firmness seems a little unfair.

We were in town for a wedding so I didn’t get to use the apartment as much as I’d like but the kitchen was spacious, nice table,, comfy couch and my favorite was the bed very comfy! The apartment is clean, spacious and has almost everything that you need or may have forgotten. The property is beautiful. The owners are super responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay again!

The Kitchen was small but had everything you needed and full-sized appliances. The furniture and bed were comfortable. The only slightly strange thing was the door to the bedroom was from the bathroom but this did allow for the bathroom to feel more spacious. We would definitely rent again.
