The Space:
THE SKINNY: This nautical nest is a 4 bedroom home situated in uptown historic St. Augustine, a convenient and equally charming and attraction-filled extension of historic downtown St. Augustine. The home itself is steps from the legendary Fountain of Youth and is located on the world famous highly photographed oak canopy on Magnolia Street. Our town's best attractions, restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Enjoy a cozy night in front of the electric fireplace over board games like Jenga, heat up the charcoal grill for an at home-meal and let the kids climb all over the play set in the fenced in backyard! This house is spacious, with lots of room on the 1st floor for family or group gatherings around the dining table and kitchen bar. The open kitchen is fully loaded to allow you to entertain your whole group with ease. Lounge outdoors in the front yard and soak up some sun, or head out and explore the Fountain of Youth, which is just steps away on Magnolia Ave! Live peacock sightings are common on this street, under the shady canopy of the oak trees. Walkable to all of the downtown City of St. Augustine attractions - no need to drive! The nearby beach access in Vilano Beach is such a convenience, as well as a Publix grocery store, boat rentals, and many other fantastic nearby attractions and activities.
THE PROXIMITY: Most of my favorite local hot spots in this part of town are within a 5-10 minute walk of the front door! To name a few: "Smoked. Southern BBQ", Juniper Market, Sunday, Scoops, DOS coffee, Oddbirds Cafe, and walking down Magnolia Street to take in the gorgeous turn-of-the-century homes and oak canopy. Nearby attractions include the Fountain of Youth (also an excellent event venue for your wedding) and The Old Jail, plus the Red Train Trolley and the Old Towne Trolley both have pickup spots close by! To the east just a few minutes drive is Vilano Beach, an absolute gem of a beach location with an art deco themed grocery and shopping district. This home is drive-able within 35 minutes north to the best parts of prime Ponte Vedra for golf and shopping. To the south of St. Augustine is a highly popular area of Palm Coast, with aquatic attraction Marineland (a great place to indulge in outdoor fun) as well as golf at The Hammock (another hot spot for golfers) and the drop dead gorgeous preserve of Washington Oaks State Park, a must-visit! US1 and A1A are our main commercial corridors, equipped with shopping, groceries and restaurants of all kinds. This home is less than 5 minutes from Publix grocery store.
THE SPACE: The home sleeps 9 in 4 bedrooms with 1 King bed, 1 Queen bed, 1 full Murphy style bed, and 1 twin over full bunk bed. All bedrooms are located up the stairs on the 2nd floor. The TV's are Smart TVs, so simply login to your Netflix, Hulu or HBO account to enjoy your favorite movies and shows.
THE LAYOUT- This home has a 4/2.5 layout.
>1st Floor Half Bath: Located off the Living/Dining area.
>2nd Floor Primary Bedroom En Suite: Boasts a King size bed and en suite bathroom with soaking tub and dual shower head walk in shower.
>2nd Floor Guest Bedroom 1: Queen size bed with en suite bathroom with shower/tub combo. This bathroom also has hall access for the 2 other bedrooms to share it.
>2nd Floor Guest Bedroom 2: Office style room with desks and chairs + a Full size Murphy-style bed, that can be closed up to create open play space for kids or for working out/yoga.
>2nd Floor Guest Bedroom 3: "Kids" style room with twin over full bunk bed.
AMENITIES: Electric fireplace. Kid's climbing play set. Charcoal BBQ. Outdoor dining with large patio umbrella. Jenga. Books and board games. Easy to access high speed wifi. Smart TVs. Keurig coffee machine. Patio seating. Plenty of off street parking for 4 cars. Washer and dryer. Pack n play. Cleaning products. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Linens and towels included.
OPEN LIVING: The kitchen is situated adjacent to the living and dining area so everyone can be together whether lounging, dining or cooking! We outfit the kitchen with one roll of paper towels, a few starter trash bags and dishwasher pods for your first couple of days.
PARKING: There is plenty of off street parking in our long side driveway, garage and front driveway for 4 cars.
LAUNDRY: We offer a set of washer and dryer off of the kitchen. We provide starter laundry pods + dryer sheets, iron and ironing board and some cleaning supplies for your convenience.
HISTORIC DOWNTOWN ST. AUGUSTINE: Just outside the door is historic uptown and downtown St. Augustine! Take a tour, enjoy the rich Spanish history, the architecture, the food and craft cocktails and all that our pleasant waterfront town has to offer. BEACHSIDE FUN IN THE SUN: Our beaches are unparalleled! We really know how to enjoy what nature has blessed us with here in our quaint little St. Augustine. This home is situated 5 min from Vilano Beach! You can also drive to one of the public beach accesses in Crescent or St. Augustine Beach to park and walk on.
TURN IT UP: Want to live on the edge? There are a couple of rental shops nearby where you can rent surfboards, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, you name it! Deep sea fishing charters and boat rentals are also available in multiple places throughout town. Delivery bike rentals available via a local company. Contact me for recommendations.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: In lieu of a traditional security deposit charge or authorization hold for a large sum, we will instead charge a one-time non-refundable incidentals fee to your stay of $149. This fee acts as insurance for minor damages and covers you up to a max of $1500 of damage. You may elect to increase your incidentals fee for more coverage ($99 for $1000, $149 for $1500, $199 for $2000 and so on and so forth). *IMPORTANT: Guests must report to us any damage that has taken place during their stay before checkout, otherwise the incidental fee coverage is null and void. In this case, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of repairing or replacing the damaged items to you. Your insurance coverage amount ($500, $1000, $1500, etc) is not the max that you are responsible for. If damages exist beyond your coverage amount we will document this with photos and professional estimates of repair, and bill you for the repairs or replacements.

Getting Around:
We recommend renting a car to get around, or there are local pedi-cabs you can call to pick you up if you're only traveling a short distance downtown.

WEEKLY SERVICES: There are various service providers that visit and maintain the exterior of the property on a weekly basis and the days they visit vary from week to week. These services include lawn care, exterior pest control, trash handling and where applicable, pool and spa cleaners. Some properties may have other specialty service providers. If you see them outside, they are just on site to do their job and keep the home in its best condition for the enjoyment of our guests.
Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.
Guests must be 21 or older to book.
LOST AND FOUND ITEMS: We charge a $50 minimum to ship forgotten items, which must be paid in advance. For heavier items, we ask that you pre-pay the $50 and we will acquire any additional shipping cost and bill this to you accordingly + 25% service fee.

The home is lovely and well maintained. Even though it's just off a busy street, it's well insulated and heard only a bit of the traffic noise upstairs. My only complaint is the rather uncomfortable fold-out bed and the lack of a reading light in one of the bedrooms.

Memorial Day Memories
Our family enjoyed a great stay at this property. The location is amazing, right off Magnolia's street, and between Vilano Beach and the downtown area. You can walk to the Fountain of Youth. Extremely clean and just as listed. We definitely recommend staying here.

Sister Trip
This was a lovely place to stay. Spacious and centrally located. Very clean and beautifully decorated. My only recommendations would be beach paraphernalia such as chairs be available. Bikes would be a great add. Lastly, guests with a big vehicle may have trouble parking in the driveway.

I love to travel myself, so I really believe in the AirBnB travel model. My dream vacation is a month in Tuscany with my dog Thor (he's a Shephard/Doberman mix), touring vineyards and drinking wine; then going back to Rome to spend a month there!
