Absolutely a fantastic place. The sunsets are even more remarkable in person than the pictures show. The house is well stocked with towels, soap, shampoo, and kitchen necessities. The kayaks kept the kids occupied and the views from the chairs were great. Great location too, especially if you’re looking to hit multiple places in the area like we did.

We had a nice family vacation here. We enjoyed the kayaks and peaceful time near the water. The kids had fun playing. The house was comfortable. The kitchen well stocked with cookware. We enjoyed watching the pelicans swim by, too. We appreciated the many little touches that made the place so comfortable. Would recommend!

Beautiful Sunsets

Our group thoroughly enjoyed being able to come back to the house after riding our motorcycles all day through Door County and surrounding area! The back deck was very relaxing and the sunsets were Beautiful every might! The house was clean, and well very well stocked for all of our needs. We would definitely recommend anyone visiting the area to stay. We enjoyed the quietness of the neighborhood. Excellent stay!

Good location!

The house was halfway between Green Bay and Door County which was perfect! The beach wasn’t in swimming condition during our stay so that was a bummer but there were water options nearby. The kitchen was fully stocked and the dining area was great to enjoy family meals and game time. There was also lots of seating outside and activities to do on site (kayaks, bag toss, hose - we brought a sprinkler with us, etc.).

Host was telling the truth about the breathtaking sunsets, they were beautiful! Host was terrific with communication and check-in and check-out process was easy. House was stocked with much more than listed which made it amazing for a couple of the things we didn’t even know we needed!! Great location to Green Bay and towns in door county.Feedback is minor and mostly fyi to parents staying there with kids- bunk beds were really noisy, any movement woke the kids up. The lake is very rocky and murky, kids couldn’t jump around/in due to not being able to see the bottom or where bigger rocks were.

We loved staying at this property! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We spent most of our time in the beautiful backyard enjoying the views, playing ladder ball, playing on the beach, and kayaking. In the evenings, we gathered as a family in the living room to watch movies together. The property is very conducive to spending time together. Nick was easy to communicate with and was very welcoming. The location was perfect for us-not in the middle of a busy tourist town but still within Door County. We were able to visit several state and county parks in Door County and also do a couple of things in Green Bay. We hope to stay at this property again in the future!

5 Stars – Perfect Beach Getaway for Families

We just returned from a fantastic stay at the Luxemburg Beachfront Cottage and the property exceeded our expectations.The communication with the owner ahead of our trip was excellent - he was quick to respond and very informative, which made planning easy.The house was well-stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking full meals, and there were lots of extras we appreciated, like lawn games, kayaks, and lifejackets.The private beach, just steps from the house, was wonderful for our group. The shallow water and sandy beach made it easy for the kids to swim and play safely, and for the adults to relax while watching them (make sure to bring water shoes - the water is rocky!). We also really appreciated the peaceful setting and beautiful views in the evening - the sunsets were a great way to wind down each day!One thing to note: the area is fairly quiet in terms of restaurants and grocery options, so it’s worth bringing what you need with you.We had a wonderful time and would absolutely return!
