This cabin was perfect for a couple's getaway! We shopped the IGA a couple of minutes down the road and prepared all of our meals in the little kitchen. It is sticked well with dishes, flatware, and cookware. You would need your own spices, non stick spray,foil, etc. The deck has a perfect view of the adjacent mountain with Townsend nestled below. The rocking chairs, porch swing, and hot tub are all great options for relaxing and taking in the beautiful scenery. We could see and hear neighbors from the cabins on either side of us, but they are far enough apart to not feel intrusive. The washer and dryer are in the basement, off the deck. Make sure you unlock the kitchen door when you set outside or you will be making an unplanned trip around fron. The driveway is an extremely narrow and curvy single lane, two way shared drive. It opens up near the cabins at the top of the hill, but use caution when turning in feom the main road. This is the second Smoky Cabin Rental property we have stayed in and they are wonderful. The hosts communicate all of the important information very well, and stay in touch throughout your stay. We would choose Laurel Ridge again for future trips!
