Canyon View Retreat - Cadre tranquille, maison entièrement Adobe avec vues et bain à remous

Ce classique de deux chambres en adobe est niché dans les collines du quartier historique de Cerro Gordo, à seulement trois kilomètres de la Plaza et à 1,6 km de Canyon Road. Ses caractéristiques traditionnelles incluent une cheminée kiva, des murs en pisé apparents, des carreaux mexicains, des sols en briques et de magnifiques vigas. Les doubles portes françaises s'ouvrent sur le patio et chacune de nos chambres.  Il est idéal pour profiter tranquillement de la jolie vue sur la montagne, des boutiques et des restaurants sur la route voisine de Canyon Road, ou se détendre après le ski ou la randonnée dans les sentiers de Dale Ball à proximité.

L'entrée est escarpée et peut nécessiter un véhicule à 4 roues motrices en hiver.
La maison est exposée à la montagne, la climatisation n’est donc pas nécessaire tant que les ventilateurs de plafond sont utilisés.

My Husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Canyon View Retreat. The kitchen is fully equipped and the house very comfortable. Having breakfast at the Veranda a deer came to visit us a few times. The trailheads were easy to find, and we made it to the top of Picacho. (we are 84 and 86). We also went to the opera, what a delight. We definitely can recommend the CVR

We enjoyed staying at this property. Very clean and well appointed. It is an easy drive to the Plaza from the residence. I do believe that the lighting is not adequate in the tv room however and needs to be improved. We would stay there again.

Charming hide away

If you love nature this is the perfect home in the summer. The hammock, hot tub games were great child pleasers. There are two wonderful playgrounds and good hiking trails nearby. Thank you..we may be back!

Gorgeous house

This house is perfect. It's a beautiful property and the location is great. It's within walking distance to multiple great hiking trails, but also a really short drive into the city. I especially loved the bird houses and watching all the birds come and go in the morning.

Great location if you love views and wildlife

The house was stocked with everything needed to feel comfortable. We did have issues with the hot tub and and the water had a yellowish tint, but I think it's because it might be well water. Other than that, great house, amazing fireplace, great views, responsive host, and convenient location to town.

This property is a little gem. Very clean and comfortable with spectacular views. The hammock and hot tub perfectly complete the Santa Fe experience. Host provided complimentary chips and salsa which were enjoyed one afternoon over card games at the table on the veranda in the afternoon shade. Doesn’t get any better!

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay! We generally cook rather than dine out. The house is close to several markets and the kitchen was well stocked. We had a hard time getting the master warm without getting other side of house too warm but we did find a small heater to knock the chill off. We had a few issues but the management was so responsive and took care of everything. We would stay here again without hesitation! Lovely accommodations!

Beautiful and peaceful setting

What an amazing home and location! My spouse and I lived in Santa Fe from 1999-2004 and returned this past week with our teenage sons to show them our former home. It was a memorable trip for that reason but staying at this property made it all the more special. We started and ended every day soaking in that view and felt so peaceful and relaxed throughout our stay. The location is perfect for exploring both the mountains and the downtown and we loved how much thought went into the design of this green home. Thanks again!

Stunning Property

We really enjoyed our stay. It's a very comfortable property with all the amenities. Wished the master shower head wasn't so painful though. It wasn't adjustable so we couldn't use it. That was the ONLY thing though. Everything else was beautifully curated and left us wanting for nothing!
