Welcome to this unique cabin in Nemo. This private retreat offers 2 cozy bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds. Ladder access to the two bed loft space. The bathroom features a relaxing bathtub and shower….hair dryer for your convenience. In the additional living space, you'll find a comfy sofa bed perfect for lounging. The kitchen is complete with a coffee maker, small refrigerator, stove and microwave. Dishes, glasses, cups, silverware, utensils and baking items furnished along with towels for bathroom and kitchen. With heating, AC, WiFi, satellite TV and more, your stay here will be truly enjoyable. It's easy to see why you'll be able to unwind at our place. Furnished like no other Black Hills cabin…! Brian and Joan were very welcoming, they met us when we got there and showed us everything we needed to know about. We chatted with them a couple of times during our visit, very nice people, will definitely stay there again

The cabin was impeccable, every detail screams welcome!Brain and Joan are very welcoming and have created a place that makes you feel at home and from the moment you open the door.Old west charm, great views of the mountain, and the land is laid out beautifully.Highly reccommend and look forward to our next stay.

What a wonderful, quiet, and cozy cabin for a getaway! The ambiance was incredible! With it being in a valley surrounded by rocky hills and blanketed with pines and the ability to dim the gas lantern looking lights creates a mood and a coziness feeling that is indescribable. The hosts are fantastic and very easy to converse with. The ability to bring our dogs was a massive plus. I will be recommending to everyone I speak to about this outstanding spot.

The barnhouse was perfect. Rustic feel with all the modern conveniences. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evenings looking at the mountain. Brian and Joan are wonderful and have a beautiful place. Don't tell anyone because we would like to keep this little slice of heaven a secret.

The cabin was absolutely adorable. It was cute and comfortable, warm and cozy. We had everything we could possibly need. Joan and Brian, the owners were amazing. They were the best hosts we have ever had. We will definitely come back to see them. The view was amazing!

Such a wonderful place!

The whole family instantly fell in love with the barnhouse. We were greeted by the owners upon arrival and had a wonderful chat about how the cabin was moved and rebuilt. There are very few options available for a family of four but this one fit the bill perfectly. The perfect word to describe the barnhouse is “quaint”. The decor of the cabin was wonderful and gave it a very homy feel. Everything was clean and operational. We brought our side by sides and had plenty of parking for the trailer, pickup and two UTVs. We are already planning our next stay at the barnhouse!!!!

loved it!

The barn house was amazing, the attention to detail with the restoration is awesome, the light fixtures are all so gorgeous as well. The check in process was easy peazy and Joan was there to give recommendations for places to eat! It was rainy on arrival so they had started the fireplace for us, even. Cabin was WELL STOCKED with almost anything you’d need from cooking utensils to games and reading material. This place was exactly as advertised more and a great spot to stay. In the mornings you could watch deer out below the ridge in the grass & there were several birds around as well. On the deck - multiple comfortable chairs to choose from to listen to the birds in the morning! (Ohh & coffee/coffee maker).

Home away from home

As soon as our family pulled up to the Barnhouse we felt at home. The barnhouse was amazing and the surrounding land is beautiful. The owners, Joan and Brian, were incredibly welcoming and the most genuine people. Their hospitality is second to none and made our stay very relaxed and enjoyable. Our three daughters loved their dog and two horses. They were very accommodating for our dog which was fun to watch him play with theirs. We are so happy we stayed at the Barnhouse and we are planning on returning again! This is a very special and unique place to stay. If you are looking for somewhere to make special memories, this is the place. Our family holds Joan and Brian in high regard.Nemo is a great location to stay as it is central to all the local attractions, parks, etc. There are plenty of local trails to discover in the immediate area.
