This apartment is the penthouse unit, which is located on floors 3 and 4. NOTE that you must use stairs to access the unit; there is no elevator.

The unit consists of two king bedrooms on the 3rd floor and a kitchen and large living area on the 4th, providing extra space for sleeping and gathering. In-unit laundry is located on the 4th floor.

The apartment is centrally located with approximate distances below:

*6 minute walk to Mass General Hospital (MGH)
*8 minutes to downtown Boston
*10 minute walk to State House & Boston Common
*15 minute walk to Boch Center - Wang Theatre

Very nice location, and comfortable. Steep stairs up 2 flights to bedrooms was somewhat unexpected, but overall would stay there again.

The rental was immaculate and the host went out of her way to accommodate the check in time that we needed. I highly recommend. The location was centered to the attractions and sites we wanted to visit.

Incredible spot to stay. The historical charm of the apartment is not lost with the modern upgrades. We loved our stay with three small children and the central location made it easy to get to all the major attractions of Boston. Will definitely be back!

Great location. Cute place. We loved it! It is perfectly situated on a quaint, quiet lane in Beacon Hill. Easy walk to so many Boston must-see places.Be prepared, though. There are three flights of very narrow stairs that could be problematic for some.

Amazing apartment in a great neighborhood! We had a slight issue with the door code, but that was a VRBO isssue that the owner quickly handled. The apartment was immaculate and well-stocked. The stairs are a lot with our luggage, but we expected it. We had a great time and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a taste of Beacon Hill!

The location and neighborhood give this a 7 out of 5! Fantastic spot, so quintessentially Boston and so convenient. The home is lovely, well renovated, and well equipped.The beds were VERY comfortable. You do need to be aware that the stairs into the unit and between the two floors of the unit are very tight, steep, and would be difficult to navigate for elderly, larger people, or anyone with movement impairment/injury, etc. Please be aware. This is a very historic building and the stairs reflect that. The main reason I cannot give it 5 stars is that we were there in June - and hit a couple days of VERY humid heat. The temperature was not terribly high- low 80s maybe- but very humid. The home had a musty smell like mildew a times. It could have just been because of teh humidity but I don't know. It could use some type of dehumidifying and maybe diffusers or something to make it smell more pleasant overall. And if you're travelling there in the summer you need to be aware that the thermostat is only for central heat. The air conditioning is created by small window units in the rooms which work.... ok. We had some trouble with it being too hot but turning it up enough to cool us off meant the thing blowing right on our face as we tried to sleep. By the last night we had gotten it figured out to be more comforatble. My recommendation is book this home in the fall, winter, or spring and you'll probably love it. All in all- really enjoyed it!

We had a wonderful stay here for a mini family and friend vacation! The location is perfect for exploring Boston! I highly recommend this unit and would definitely stay again.

First time to Boston

This unit is in a wonderful location and the neighborhood is so quaint and charming. The building is very historic and has all of the charm with modern amenities. Navigating the staircases to the upstairs was a bit challenging. We had an early flight home and felt bad for the noise we made leaving for the lower floor guests. Our hosts were super helpful and had a great book on area restaurants, etc.

Beacon hill beauty.

If you can’t do stairs this probably isn’t for you. But everything else was really cool. The neighborhood was storybook and very walkable. It was very nice to stay here.
