Charmante maison construite au 19e siĂšcle en pierres. Superbe endroit

La Majada Alta est située dans un parc national et sur des terrains privés de plusieurs milliers de mÚtres carrés dans une région de montagnes et de lacs exceptionnellement belle. La maison est idéale pour ceux qui apprécieront les sons reposants des cloches des chÚvres ou l'appel du grand-duc ou le spectacle des aigles planant dans le ciel. C'est aussi un point de départ idéal pour le visiteur le plus actif qui sera satisfait des magnifiques promenades, lacs, villages blancs, la célÚbre gorge à El Chorro, ou les fabuleuses formations de calcaire à El Torcal.



CĂŽte/Plage
Les stations balnéaires de Torremolinos, Fuengirola et Marbella (Costa del Sol) sont à environ 1h30 en voiture de la maison. Les plages atlantiques de Tarifa sont à environ 3h.

Golf :
Le Golf Antequeras est Ă  30 km soit 40 min en voiture. Le Golf Alhaurin est Ă  45 km soit 50 min en voiture.

Ski :
La station de ski de Sol y Nieve dans les montagnes de la Sierra Nevada Ă  Grenade est ouverte de NoĂ«l Ă  fin avril. We are from Houston and stayed here in this charming 19th-century cottage for two nights, from January 2nd to 4th. One of the best stays we've ever had. The host was incredibly friendly and attentive. He responded quickly to our messages and gave us advice on things we hadn't even thought of, making our stay much more enjoyable. It was clear that he knows the area very well and is used to having guests. He helped us a lot and gave us great tips. The house is a dream, situated in a magnificent location with beautiful views. The mountain visible from the front porch is stunning. Colin explained everything about the house and left us plenty of firewood and supplies for the fireplace, which was one of the things we enjoyed most. Definitely 100% recommended.

A really magical stay. The views from the house are amazing, from both the front and rear terraces. To the rear you see the national park and hills, to the front you have close proximity of you own personal mountain. The house has everything that you need. The kitchen has everything, and more importantly is a very easy space to cook and prepare, whilst others drift around you! The short drive to the village gives also amazing views, past herds of goats with bells. Colin is very helpful and encouraged us to visit the local fiesta whilst we were there, which offered super paella at 2 euros a head. We have already booked for next year.

A beautiful property if your looking for a quiet stay in beautiful surroundings. We had an excellent stay. Colin was just absolutely brilliant. So helpful at answering my questions about the area and what was worth visiting. He was so helpful when we met him after driving from the airport. He took us to a local shop to buy supplies and took them in his car to the Villa. The Villa was just wonderful a well stocked kitchen with utensils, which so many villa's are not. A great BBQ lovely pool and cool rooms to sleep in the evenings with Air-con. All the family had a great time.

Goats Galore!

perfect home to visit Camino del Rey. views to die for. mountain goat visits at the pool was a highlight. Baby goats born recently learing to trek, never gets boring watching. Colin was most excellent host and his house is amazing. house was clean and everything worked and in good repair. pool was clean and nice that pool towels provided. had dinner on the back patio 2 nights and will never forget it...moonlight and stars lit up the mountain peak above and the valley sky below...and as a total bonus, not a single mosquito bite!

Great Stay

This is a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset, sunrises, etc. It is very peaceful, clean and spacious. We wished we could have spent more time here. The pool was very refreshing after some long hot dates of traveling. The host is very helpful and friendly.

Another wonderful week in this beautiful villa

We love the remoteness, yet easy access to local villages and towns. The villa itself is amazing, 3 large double bedrooms, huge lounge. Lots of places to eat inside and out. And a wonderful good sized pool, and spectacular views with eagles overhead.

Paradisiac cottage surrounded with nature

We, a young family + 86 year old granny, had a fantastic and relaxing stay with stunning views around the house. Very comfortable beds, great kitchen for the cooking fans that we are. Colin was so kind to us and of great help during our stay. We will definitely be back :) Thank you so much!

Stunning location

We had a wonderful stay at the villa and really made the most of it as the wet weather meant we had to stay in at times. We had beautiful views of the stunning mountain that we both hiked and climbed. We were warm and comfortable with plenty of firewood. The kitchen is super well equipped and it allowed for cooking for many people. The shop was about 15min drive in a near by village. There is enough communal space to spend time together as well as having time in our own rooms. The views and vegetation are magical. Would definitely come back! Thank you to our wonderful hosts for being very communicative and helpful!

What a charming cottage in a wonderful environment! We had a superb time. Colin and Francesca are great hosts, caring and making sure we felt comfortable at any time. We came to El Chorro for rock climbing and could explore the cliff right above the house!

Peaceful getaway

Absolutely stunning.

A beautiful property in a picture perfect location. Clean and fresh and I thought it felt bigger than in the pictures. The host was easy to get in touch with and showed us to the property from the local village. I will miss sitting outside and admiring the gorgeous 360° views.

Beautiful and relaxing

The House and garden with pool was even better than its description. Very spacious for a family of four and very good value for your money. During the heat wave in Spain, we could still enjoy a breeze that made even the middle of the day comfortable. Colin arranged for everything needed, we only had to enjoy our stay.

A get away from it all place with plenty to do!

Stayed at La Majada Alta for two weeks and had a fantastic time, the property had everything we needed for a family of 5 and was quiet and very peaceful. Stunning views and lots to see and do in the surrounding area. Local village has everything you will need during your stay and is approx 7km (10 min by car). Colin and Francesca are extremely helpful and will help out with any questions you may have. Thanks for a lovely holiday!

Amazing Location

We absolutely loved our stay. The home is more rustic but was perfect for the two of us. We loved the location. Do your grocery shopping before arrival and then just unplug. There’s plenty of hiking in the area, but we spent our time reading and playing card games. It turned into one of the more relaxing trips we’ve been on. The pool and view is unparalleled. We saw an ibex and watched the goat herders behind the property. Absolutely idyllic.
