Cute condo - great location!
We've stayed many times on the North end of FMB before, but never at this building, so we were glad to get a booking!Just FYI - the island itself is still rebuilding after the last hurricane, and although they have done a great job so far, there is still a lot of construction and missing businesses.About the condo itself- the bedroom and bathroom are spacious and well equipped. They even provided small toiletries and they were well lit and wonderful. The living/kitchen area was a bit smaller than I expected, but it still worked out fine. We didn't use all the appliances, but the toaster worked great and the fridge even had an ice maker. There was a broken knife and missing bedding, but I made a call and they promptly brought out sheets! The staff were super helpful and fast. (There was one morning the elevators weren't working, but they had someone out there ASAP) The couch itself was much more comfortable to sit on than sleep - it was a standard fold out - fortunately there was also a recliner in the unit that we were able to use instead. The lanai was a bit small, but it was screened in (which was appreciated) - and the view was fabulous!! There was a lot of machine noise due to the beach reclamation that was occuring, but that's only a temporary thing. The pool area was nice and parking was always available.Overall, I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone wanting a peaceful North End vacation - it was clean and well cared for - we'd love to stay again.
