The Scandi - Tiny Home & Sauna in Berlin

Most people think of a tiny home as a small, cramped space. Nothing is further than the truth. Intentional design in The Scandi maximizes its small footprint.

12' tall ceilings make the space feel roomy and spacious. Big beautiful windows on all sides give you a sense of being close to nature. Watch your favorite show on the 55" 4K tv. A skylight and memory foam mattress let you fall asleep under the stars. The outdoor sauna, ice barrel and firepit are all yours to enjoy. @tinystays_berlin

Think Glamping - not Camping. A luxurious experience awaits you at the Scandi.
- Full bathroom with hot/cold running water. (No composting toilet)
- AC/Heat
- Kitchenette equipped with all the basics. Full fridge/freezer, microwave, Elite Gourmet Cast-Iron single electric burner silverware, pots, pans, etc.
- Coffee station! Complete with fresh beans from The Red Mug, a burr grinder, and everything you need to make yourself a pour-over (or drip coffee).
- Solar-powered skylight over the bed lets you fall asleep looking at the stars.
- Memory foam mattress.
- Smart-home features. In addition to typical light switches, you'll be able to play music, dim the lights, and more through Alexa.

- A 55-inch 4k TV, with subscriptions to: Netflix, Amazon Prime, and live TV through Youtube TV.
- Outdoor firepit area. Firestarter and firewood are provided.
- Ice Barrel. (Not available in winter months). The firepit area and sauna are exclusively for your use.

You'll be able to let yourself in with the keyless entry code we provide you with your check-in instructions.

Relax and unwind at the indoor hot tub as you soak away your stress and indulge in some well-deserved relaxation, warm up and rejuvenate in the sauna for a soothing experience that will leave you feeling refreshed, or if a cold plunge is more your style, we offer that, too! Let the fun begin by using your keycode to access your free day passes and take your relaxation to the next level.

You'll get access to our guidebook, complete with everything you need to know about staying at The Scandi as well as all of our favorite restaurants and shops in the area. You'll be able to self-check-in with keyless entry, but if you would like to meet us, we would be happy to chat at a local coffee shop!

The Scandi is tucked back in a wooded area at the back of a small neighborhood. Once you park your car, you'll walk down a path through the woods to get to your personal Eden. The deck, a firepit area, and an outdoor sauna are exclusively available for your use.

Located near downtown Berlin - the heart of Amish Country, local restaurants, coffee shops, and retail stores are less than a mile away.

The Scandi is near the heart of Ohio's rural Amish Country, so bringing your own car is the best way to get around.

Absolutely no smoking in the tiny home or on the deck. A $450 fine will be charged if there is any evidence of smoking. If you do need to smoke, please take it up by the parking space or fire pit and dispose of cigarettes in the black trash can near the fire pit area.


We understand your pet is part of the family and we are thrilled to have them join you. We ask that you add your pet to the reservation as there is an additional $25 pet fee. We also ask that no pet be left alone in the house unattended unless in a cage. Please be sure to clean up after your dog outside.
