IMPORTANT NOTES
• STEEP DRIVEWAY: Use 4WD or low gear. May look intimidating—please consider this before booking.
• SHARED DRIVEWAY: Shared with the cabin next door; guests may need to take turns entering/exiting.
• WINTER WEATHER: We block dates if snow or ice is predicted to keep guests safe.
• SECURITY: Ring Floodlight Camera overlooks the driveway (no audio recording).
• LADYBUGS: During the autumn months, you may see 'Ladybugs' (Asian Lady Beetles) visiting the cabin. They are attracted to the sun on the mountain and occasionally find their way inside to stay warm. They are harmless and do not sting, but please do not squish them, as they can leave a tiny yellow spot. If they bother you, a quick vacuum (provided in the closet) is the best way to whisk them away! We treat the cabin regularly, but these little travelers are a natural part of the Smoky Mountain fall experience.
• BEARS: Bears have been spotted around the cabin, so please do not leave food, trash, or pet food outside. Keep car doors locked and stay aware when outdoors, especially at dawn or dusk.
• NO SMOKING inside the cabin.
• PET FRIENDLY: Up to 2 dogs under 50 lbs allowed. $100 pet fee applies. Dogs must be crated when unattended and kept off furniture.
• AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be 18 or older to book.
