Welcome to The Bunkhouse at Mineral Reserve! Near Bennett Springs for fishing and floats! The Bunkhouse sleeps 5 people, with 2 loft (low ceiling) queen beds and a sofa bed. Make sure you check out the photos to get a good idea of this space! Kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and electric skillet. Charcoal grill outside with table/chairs and firepit! The outdoor space is tucked to the side of the unit and offers privacy and a fun place to hang. You won't be disappointed!
The space
Tiny home that sleeps 5. The two queen beds are in a low ceiling loft. This is a unique space great for memory making! Downstairs bed is a non traditional sofa bed. Full size (could sleep 2 small children or 1 adult)

Everything was great, if you’re claustrophobic like me I do not recommend the lofts. However, the pullout worked just fine for us! Nice outdoor area!

We had so much fun and the kids loved it! Only thing we wished were different: a picture of the outside of the property so we knew more of what to expect as well as a sooner message regarding check in. We had to call to get the entry code, but the host answered right away!

Very small area. It is a converted storage shed. When sleeping in lofts, your head is approximately 3 feet from the ceiling. It is hard for an adult to get in and out of the lofts.

Perfect place if you are wanting a place close to Bennett. Fire pit and grill to cook plenty of food! Highly recommend!!

Bennett springs fishing trip

Perfect for a couple wannabe fly fishermen. All we needed without breaking the bank. Love the simplicity. Very clean. We'd stay again!

Quiet Getaway

My husband and I just needed a brain break... chose this little bunkhouse as we weren't planning to spend much time indoors. Ultimately it had even more room than we thought, and had everything we needed. We appreciated the quick communication when we needed it. Definitely would stay again!

Clean & comfortable even in 97 degrees!

Unit was clean, well cooled & set up nicely - more space than it appears in photos. Communication with the host, Darin, was super! Helpful hint: there's mininal clearance between lofted beds & ceiling. We didnt have way to measure, maybe less than 14"? The most headroom is towards middle of bed where ceiling is higher. However, there is a sleeping option on main floor if head room in lofted area was a concern. We also enjoyed the firepit & shaded trees outside & it was a convenientdrive to Bennett Springs. We would stay again, thanks Darin!

The hosts thought of everything, even setting up little snacks, oatmeal for breakfast, coffee and even the logs outside for a firepit. There are two queen beds which are up high and a small fold out couch which can fit a shorter adult, if needed. It's close to Bennett Springs state park. So, for fishing with the buddies, it's perfect. That said, with three beds, it maxes at 3 people to stay the night, unless someone is sleeping on the floor or you're doubling up in the queen beds. The major downside with this unit is that both beds are in the lofts and, at the minimum clearance, you only have a little over a foot of clearance to get into the beds. So, you can't sit upright in the bed. For me and my friend, we each took one and we were fine. But, those that have a hard time getting in and out of a regular bed will want to look somewhere else. The only real recommendation I would have for the hosts is they probably want to consider investing in full bed encasement mattress protectors and pillow protectors. They keep the beds from getting bedbugs if someone brings them in. Note that the beds did have covers, just not full encasements.
