Lumberjack Lodge Retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We hosted our family of ten and the accommodations were just what we needed. Plenty of room for everyone, the wrap around porches were a great surprise, the children enjoyed the game room & theater. A bear came within a few yards of the front door so be cautious. We had one issue with the pool alarm and once we called it was addressed within the hour. I spoke with Jennifer several times leading up to our stay and she was very helpful & friendly.

Adequate space to spread out and visit with everyone. Only drawback was upper bunk was too close to ceiling for an adult to sleep on it.

Perfect!

The house was huge with a lot of space! It wasn't too far from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. I loved that we weren't right in town and that the resort community made it easy and comfortable to run the "loop" and let the kids hang out front throwing baseballs and riding bikes without worry!

Cabin stay

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was well-located, close to town but not too close. Lot of amenities (pool, hot tub, theater room, game room). Essentials not provided, no hair dryer, no shampoo/conditioner, no sponge, dishwasher soap or washing machine soap. Dirty dishes were noted in the dishwasher. Check in is supposedly 3pm but cleaning staff was not done till nearly 5pm. This was one of the highest priced properties in the area and definitely for price paid, would expect better stay/features. Overall, would not stay here again as we have stayed in nicer local properties at a lower price point.

1st Time to Gatlinburg

Beautiful accommodations. Great location. Easy access to grocery and featured attractions. Pool was fantastic for the kids in our group. Management responsive in a timely manner and took care of our needs immediately. Don’t even think twice about booking Lumberjack Lodge. Far exceeded our expectation.

Lumberjack Lodge is a Cut Above

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a great place for our family of 12 with our kids and grandkids. We stayed for one week. The pool was nice for our grandchildren. The additional of pool, fire ring, grill, TV and extra decking made for that additional space to spread the family out on the property. As often happens with wood cabins, the floors and stairways were creaky and we heard any late night and early movements. We are repeat customers of Elk Springs. It is our first choice to find cabins for a large family, small family or just the two of us.

Perfect Getaway...

Reviewer Comments: As a first timer in the mountains of Gatlinburg, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect of the area or the rental but everything was beautiful! The cabin is conveniently located within 10 minutes of local stores should you need to restock on any personal belongings. Onsite accommodations are clean, spacious, and well maintained. The heated pool was a highlight of the stay! Our friends group all agreed we have to return in the Fall to experience the foliage from the wrap around deck located on the center level. Check-in/out process was simple and stress-free, and property management quickly responded to any inquiries we had. Overall perfect stay!

Great family mini vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time. The location is great with plenty of level parking. Convenient to the arts and crafts loop. The cabin was clean and everything was in working order. We had a early Thanksgiving dinner and the only thing we were missing was a second 9 by 13 casserole dish. The kitchen even a Kerrigan with 6 coffee pods! Pool has towels and restroom to change in the separate pool house. There's an alarm on the pool door that surprised us but it was easy to figure at (and there's instructions posted by the door). We enjoyed movies in the theater room. The recliners were extremely comfortable and there were super soft blankets on the rockers. We used the firepit with morning coffee. Theres not really a view from the balcony, just woods, but fairly private. We had older teens and young adults with us and all had a great time. The floors are squeaky, especially in the kitchen, so no sneaking around. Overall it's a great cabin with an awesome pool and amenities.

Awesome Cabin - Just "Creaky"

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was excellent, the pool house and outside decks were perfect. We would NOT reserve this cabin again for two reasons: 1) every door and all the floors creaked loudly and 2) the kitchen was not well appointed with enough coffee cups, dishes, pots and pans or utensils.You would think the cleaning crew would have reported that the doors needed to be "oiled" and the floors were exceptionally creaky.

Great cabin!

We had 8 adults and one teen with us for our trip and the cabin was awesome! We thoroughly enjoyed all of the amenities but especially the pool and hot tub.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation rental experience was wonderful. The pros outweighed the cons. Pros: We had enough room for everyone. Parking was spacious (we had 3 cars). Customer service was very informative, understanding and available. For activities we truly enjoyed the Diamond Heist Escape Room and the Alcatraz Museum!! Cons: For movie night the sound system wasn't as loud as we expected. There was a water bottle left in one of the movie seats. Instead of putting the top sheets on one of the beds,they were folded on the bed rail. Crumbs found in chair at dinning table. Despite the cons, we are looking forward to returning. :)

Nice Cabin

Nice cabin and plenty of room. Kids enjoyed the pool. The cleanliness of the cabin is not great. The bed sheets had hair and eyelashes on them. Dishes and spatulas had food still on them. The office handled it well and sent clean sheets.
