Cozy 2BR 1.5 bath Hot Tub Fast WIFI Fire Pits King BD 2 Twins in Loft

Escape to this peaceful cabin in Mentone. Unwind in the cozy living space. A main BR complete with a King bed for a phenomenal night's sleep and an adjoining bath. A loft BR with 2 twins and a half bath is perfect for kids. The loft is best for kids as the ceiling is not full height and the stairs are pretty steep. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like AC, WiFi, 2 Roku TVs, board games, and a full size washing machine and dryer. Electric Fireplace in living room and another electric fireplace in the Maser Bedroom, Freshen up in one of the two bathrooms equipped with a hairdryer and a shower. The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen and an assortment of coffee kcups, tea, hot chocolate and marshmallows are provided.
Outdoor areas include large hot tub in back for 4 people and gas fire pit with seating area for 4 and outdoor string lighting. A traditional fire pit out front with comfy adirondack chairs for sitting around the fire and roasting marshmallows and sharing stories. Front porch offers charcoal grill and another great seating around with comfy oak rockers and oak slider and outdoor string lighting.

Host was always quick to answer any and all questions. Provided items I requested. I even love the housekeeper. We were treated just as a quest should be. Would highly recommend this location. And any others she may have. EXCELLENT service. Oh and the hot tub was great.

This was my favorite vacation rental stay ever. When my wife and I arrived, the cabin and the fire pit out front were tastefully decorated for Halloween. The cabin is beautiful and well-built, with very nice interior decorating. It features art with a nod to the locale, including some wonderful art created by the host. Hot tub and fire pits were a nice perk. The cabin is also tucked away from the main road. The cabin is located almost perfectly between Mentone and Desoto State Park. Our weekend of hiking and relaxation would not have been the same without this stay. Thanks, Carla!

The cabin was a perfect getaway for my husband and I. It was very easy to get to and the drive up was nice. Next time we will plan to go for a weekend....all things to do in Mentone is not available Monday thru Wednesday. We were able to enjoy a wonderfl Breakfast at Hatter cafe this morning (Thursday) before heading home. We drove over to Fort Payne and really enjoyed going thru the band Alabama Fan Club Museum. We will definitely be back to Mentone and hope to rent from Carla again, she is the most gracious host.

We absolutely loved the cabin. The owner was easy to get in touch with. The cabin was exactly as described. The location was perfect and beautiful. Everything was within a quick distance from the cabin. Our family had plenty of room and enjoyed every minute.

Mentone found a place in my heart back in 2014 when I dropped off one of my daughters at sleepaway camp. We've been visiting Mentone every summer since. Bearfoot has been our favorite cabin thus far. All the comforts you need are in one place. It is clean and cozy! Perfectly set in the woods, you feel like you are miles away from civilization. In reality, you are only about 10 minutes from the restaurants and shopping, and even closer to Desoto Falls. Tucked into the woods, you do not hear the typical sounds of vehicles going by. Instead, those noises we are accustomed to hearing all day long were replaced with the pleasant singing of birds, the leaves of the trees blowing in the wind, and, to my surprise, the hooves of the deer as they are about to cross in front of the porch.Truly a pleasant experience! It is my youngest daughter's last year at camp, as she has now reached the age limit for campers. Her request was to return to this cabin for a mom/daughter trip in the future. I want to return too!

We began to relax moment we arrived! It was one of the most peaceful places we have ever stayed. It's a quick ride into Mentone and the evenings were spent in the hot tub and finished with a night cap on the front porch! We will be coming back to visit Mentone again and we will definitely try to stay here again!

It’s a private and peaceful area surrounded by nature with a few quaint cabins nearby and nestled central to all the great outdoor activities and only a few minutes from Mentone restaurants, shopping and art galleries.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

There is a hot tub, propane fire pit, and string lighting with seating for 4+ right out the back door for a fun relaxing evening.
The front porch includes 2 rocking chair and a two person slider. It also has a charcoal grill with grilling essentials included. And string lighting to enhance your evening.
Another traditional fire pit out front with four Adirondack chairs await for roasting marshmallows and just hanging out with great company.
