Welcome to the CARRIAGE HOUSE! Unique to Savannah and the South, Carriage Houses held the carriage and driver in the horse-and-buggy days. Situated on a private courtyard in the heart of Downtown Savannah, just walk out the door and you are at Whitefield Square, one of the most famous wedding settings in all Savannah. From there the city is your pearl! Close to Forsyth Park, shopping, Low-Country dining, coffee, nightlife, and more!

This is a very nice property. The location is great for walking to many parks and restaurants. We were able to enjoy the deck overlooking the courtyard with our dog. The property is very clean and well stocked. We had a great stay!

Amazing stay! The carriage house was adorable with a lovely and serene back porch. It was well stocked with all needed basics and the location was incomparable. Walking distance to everything! Mark was a great host and gave good recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We loved Savannah. We will definitely return and stay here again!

Best friends' getaway

This location is absolutely beautiful! It felt like our own private retreat, close enough to everything to take in all the sights and entertainment, but just far enough to feel secluded from the busyness. Would definitely stay again!

Cute property in a great location. The walkway to the carriage house was made narrow due to scaffolding on the main building during our stay which could impede anyone that is tall/ has broad shoulders.

This property exceeded our expectations in every way! It didn't feel like a rental. We felt like guests. Beautifully decorated inside and out - the lovely courtyard and private balcony are a big bonus. Perfect location - in the thick of things, but a quietier corner.

We came down for the parade and the location was spot on! Our hosts were super responsive and helpful. It was the perfect set up for my daughter and I and had all the things we needed. Stocked kitchen with pots and pans and spices. Coffee and sugar as well! We have complimentary toiletries and the bed was so comfy! We had a wonderful stay!

This was a beautiful little cottage, with a stunning courtyard (we had to tear ourselves away from the peaceful garden to go see Savannah!). It’s walking distance to everything but a few blocks away from the noise - so just perfect. The kitchen has everything you might need and the bed was very comfortable. Accessing the property does require one flight of stairs, notable if that’s an issue for you.We would highly recommend this for a stay in Savannah.

One of the rare accommodations in Savannah that accepted a cat. The experience was superb from the start; the pictures of the space could not have been more accurate and the little touches to make me feel welcome were greatly appreciated. If I visit Savannah again, this will definitely be where I choose to stay.
My cat also loved the stay in this lovely carriage house.

Loved your carriage house. The deck overlooking the courtyard was a perfect way to start and end the day. Everything was spotless and well stocked. Street parking was easy to find and the location was charming. Guests should be aware that it is upstairs with narrow stairs. I am 75 and didn’t have trouble and if I get a chance to return to Savannah will definitely stay here again.

Excellent get away

My best friend and I stayed for 3 nights and everything about it was wonderful. The accommodations were great for all the basic needs and wants, the location is amazing for walking anywhere you would want to go in the historic district, and we even enjoyed just staying at the lodging because between the balcony or the courtyard it was so great to just sit and relax there.

The thermostat could not be adjusted, but we were still comfortable enough. The dire lions to get to the back were give , but i missed them. Perhaps they should be given at the start instead of further down...or perhaps a link to those specific directions.Location to places was very good!

I wish there were six stars! This place is above and beyond a five star. I have been renting with Vrbo for decades now.Easy in and out - great communication, etc. etc. The accommodations themselves are very comfortable, clean, quiet and fun because there’s all this great art. Everything you could want in the kitchen as well & More!Bed… couch all very comfortable, and the terrace was just lovely!Some of the softest towels in the bathroom that I’ve ever had!We will return here again when next we come to Savannah.

We love the location of the property. It was perfect for us and our small dog. The courtyard and porch provided a lovely oasis. The location was close to everything we wanted to see. We were able to visit the City Market, Forsyth Park’s Farmer’s market, Blick art supplies, SCAD, and Tybee Island’s Crab Shack over a short two-night stay. Everyone in Savannah was so welcoming and friendly. At this time we are not huge walkers or bikers, but if you are there is so much to see by foot or pedal power. We’d definitely return to this location again.

Amazing stay in adorable studio with courtyard

We would give 6 stars if possible. The apartment had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable 4 days thanks to our thoughtful hosts. The location is perfect distance to the park and to downtown but out of the very busy area, near beautiful squares. The outdoor space was a huge plus - the patio and garden with fountain are beautiful and we enjoyed sitting out there daily. The bed was very comfortable, apartment was clean, and there were games and a good TV setup. Can’t say enough good things about this place! Thank you Mark!

Very cute little place with everything that you could need. Within walking distance to most every place we planned to go. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed plus some. The courtyard was our favorite hangout. Very quiet and relaxing weekend. Thank you! We needed that!!!
