Situé dans le centre du vieux village historique de Tangmere, dans un endroit calme entouré de jardins privés, cet appartement construit à cet effet propose un hébergement spacieux et entièrement meublé pour 2 personnes. C'est l'endroit idéal pour la détente avec accès à de nombreuses installations à proximité.

La propriété se trouve au bout d'un chemin privé avec son propre parking sur place. Il est rattaché à une maison plus grande, toutes construites au 21ème siècle. Il propose un hébergement autonome confortable doté d'un mobilier de qualité, idéal pour une pause de vacances ou une utilisation prolongée lors des déménagements ou des modifications de bâtiments. Il y a le chauffage central pour les vacances d'hiver et un accès facile au niveau d'accès.

Détendez-vous dans le grand salon / salle à manger ou ouvrez les portes-fenêtres menant au joli jardin pour un repas en plein air sur le patio exposé au sud. La cuisine est entièrement équipée donnant sur le jardin bien planté. Il vient avec intégré dans le four / grill, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur / congélateur et machine à laver / sèche-linge. Il y a aussi de la place pour une table et des chaises de cuisine pour un brunch au petit-déjeuner. Une grande chambre double et une grande salle de bain séparée complètent l'hébergement. Wi-Fi gratuit inclus.

À seulement 3 miles à l'est de Chichester et à quelques minutes en voiture d'Arundel, de nombreuses attractions se trouvent à proximité. Chichester a la cathédrale, le théâtre de festival, le grand centre commercial et le centre de loisirs. Arundel offre de nombreuses attractions, notamment un château, des zones humides pour la faune, un terrain de cricket, une cathédrale et un centre commercial intéressant.

Tangmere a un magasin local, pour les achats de dernière minute et tous les besoins de base. Ancien village de la bataille d’Angleterre, il abrite le musée de l’aviation militaire de Tangmere, accessible à pied et très apprécié des passionnés de l’armée depuis son ouverture en 1982. Situé sur l'ancien aérodrome de la RAF Tangmere, le musée abrite d'innombrables expositions fascinantes. On trouve également des wargraves de la seconde guerre mondiale dans l’église vieille de 800 ans.

Plusieurs excellentes plages et le port de Chichester sont à moins de 16 km et se trouvent juste à l'extérieur des limites du parc national de South Downs. Goodwood House, un parcours de golf, un circuit de course automobile et un circuit de course se trouvent à moins de 3 km et le circuit de Fontwell à seulement 3 km. Le West Dean College et le musée en plein air de Weald et de Downland sont à 10 minutes en voiture.

Very nice accommodation

Nicely appointed and spacious annex. We did not use the kitchen but it seemed well equipped. Shower soap/gel and shampoo/conditioner not provided. Close to Goodwood but expect long delays during key events. Our only negative is the bed is small for 2 adults.

Overall the property was clean location was good very spacious the only problem we had was tea and coffee cups were not very clean also spatula was greasy and dish was chipped ice cream cone was left in the freezer. Also garden wasn’t very private

An outstanding place to stay.

Wisteria Way was a wonderful place to stay. The accommodation itself is perfect for a couple and was very clean. The bed was very comfortable, it had a lovely separate lounge/dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen as well that included a full sized fridge and washing machine/dryer. There was plenty of storage, and a nice outdoor seating area. It was in excellent condition and quite stylish. I stayed there for nearly 3 weeks and it always felt like a nice place to come back to. There is a lot to see locally, with a number of amazing attractions close by. I was also able to do a regular local run around the old Tangmere Airfield which was roughly 6km around. A convenience store is walking distance nearby. The accommodation itself is in a beautiful part of the village and down a private road, so it's amazingly quiet. The hosts David and Anne were so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Wonderful, peaceful & bright stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The area was quiet & peaceful. The hosts were lovely and kind. The accommodation was spacious, and well-stocked. The co-op is an easy walking distance, and there is also a bus stop if you want to go into Chichester.

Perfect Stay and Stawberries!

The owners were very friendly and even presented me with a punnet of their own home grown strawberries, which were delicious. The bed was comfy, shower good, kitchen well equipped, roomy living room. The owners were relaxed and happy with me feeding the birds during my stay. Although I worked a relaxed peaceful stay.

Spacious, comfortable, but in need of deep clean

First impression of the garden apartment is very good, until you notice the large number of stains on the carpet, grubby light switches and doors. The shower and kitchen surfaces had not been cleaned and an infestation of ants in the kitchen plagued our stay. The bathroom basin drainage is very poor. The property is need of a deep clean, and a thorough audit of maintenance and repair needs.

We had such an amazing time on our holiday in West Sussex. The appartment was fantastic with everything we needed. We loved sitting in the beautiful garden for breakfast too. A place to relax with all the amenities you could want on a short break, as the title states it was like a little bit of home away from home, we would recommend a stay.

Scratchy Towels & Cloths, Mediocre Kitchen, No mid-stay housecleaning

The floorplan isn't very convenient, with the kitchen at the opposite remove from the living room, and the shower had apparent mold or other black spots. The couch cushions are worn out. The kettle has lots of limescale. The pots and pans are thin, inexpensive ones that burn easily. There is no dishwasher. Like most holiday lets, the mattress was only okay. I am a bit persnickety, however. During the two weeks I was there, the annex was never cleaned by the proprietor, living next door, and there was no vacuum to do it myself. She blamed me for the resulting debris on the carpet. I thought while there that it must have been quite a while since the carpet and other flooring had been shampooed. Maybe under normal circumstances--that is, without Covid--that might just pass, but it wasn't what I'd call nice. The TV is on antennae, so some channels stop working with weather changes. The neighborhood is very nice and the street pretty, although I never saw the immediate neighbors. It is quiet and clean, but a drive to most things.

Unexpected charges

The property was lovely as we're the owners. However we were charged more than the advertised price because of issues between the USA and UK. We won't be booking with Home and Away again

Lovely flat in ideal location

The flat was an excellent place to stay to explore the local area. It is well located near Chichester, Bognor and Arundal and the location of a coop in Tangmere was very helpful. The flat itself was very comfortable and well equipped, and we enjoyed making use of the outside space during lovely weather. The owners were helpful and friendly. Everything combined to ensure an excellent stay, and we would definitely consider staying again.

I'm very sorry to have received this review. Wisteria Way has always received excellent feedback in the past. Did you raise any of your concerns with the owner as we didn't get any feedback directly. I'll certainly forward this on. Wisteria Way is attached to the owners property but has it's own entrance and garden space. I have visited and the property does seem private and I can't think what you mean by a bedroom above the bedroom unit? The whole cottage / annex is one floor and is single storey. I wonder if there is a chance you have reviewed an incorrect property?

Great place to stay

The accommodation had everything we needed. It is very clean, comfortable and quite. Whilst the owners where close (next door) we where not disturbed in the least, not withstanding they where on hand if we needed anything (which we didn't) It Is set in a very quite, peaceful area and there are local shops within 5 minutes from the location. If you need further shopping facilities the town of Chichester is very close and has a very large selection of shops catering for your every need. Additionally there is a beautiful Cathedral in additions to other attractions. David and his lovely wife where just great and so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

Well worth staying here

Our stay was due to repairs being done at home and my husband was unable to stay there due to health problems. It was perfect as it was very quiet and close to all amenities. The owners David and Anna are delightful, very friendly and helpful, even the neighbours were nice, not forgetting the daily visit by the cat looking in through the window and the antics of the birds nest building and the starlings putting on a daily show. Everything we needed was available. If we need to leave our home again we will definitely look to stay there first and recommend it to others.

5a St Andrews Lane, Tangmere

We stayed 3 weeks in this lovely flat. It is spacious and very well equipped and suited our needs beautifully. The owner lives right next door and was helpful and friendly. The location was central to all the places we wanted to visit. Chichester is a 5 minute drive away. If we visited the area again, we would definitely stay here again.

The Garden Flat

We were very pleased with our stay in this warm, comfortably furnished spacious property.It is very conveniently situated, in a quiet location within easy access to main roads. There is an abundance of tourist attractions, as well as the coast , South Downs, and interesting towns to visit, all within a short driving distance.
