Dutch and Cindy are amazing hosts. "IN THE MEADOWS" Cottage/cabin was very cute and fit our needs to a T. Cabin is secluded and peaceful with plenty of private trails to wander around on the 111 acres.Host were very responsive and answered questions promptly. Cabin was very clean, contained a personal note to us from the host. Out of a dozen VRBO cabins my wife and I have stayed in over the last ten years, this one is our favorite. Look forward to another trip to rent this cabin again. Review calls for up to 5 stars, IN THE MEADOWS AND THE HOST, deserve a 12.

À propos de l’hôte

Image de profil de l’hôte
I am originally from north Cincinnati, Ohio, but my husband and I moved to Kentucky after retiring from the school system. I am now a professional photographer, specializing in weddings, school events, high school seniors, and family portraits. My grandchildren are my pride and joy, and we cherish our time together. We also have three older horses we’ve had for over 20 years—we might have worn them out, or maybe it's the other way around!
One of my favorite things is hosting guests in our cozy tiny home. I strive to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where everyone can relax and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. I hope our guests enjoy exploring the beautiful nature surrounding us as much as we do!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

I’m lucky enough to live on 111 acres at the end of a dead-end road, surrounded by fields, trees, and the beauty of nature! I just love the sounds of cows mooing to the birds chirping. It feels like a safe oasis away from the hustle and bustle of city life. There’s so much freedom here, and each season brings something special to enjoy. As a photographer, I like to think of this place as my outdoor studio—there are endless opportunities for amazing photos! Kentucky truly is a wonderful place to call home!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our beautiful 111 acres is a peaceful haven for nature lovers. Stroll along our winding hiking trails and explore sparkling creeks while an old cemetery nearby whispers stories of the past. In the warmer months, vibrant wildflowers bloom in colorful fields, creating a stunning backdrop. Keep an eye out for the diverse array of wildlife here, including fascinating animals and birds that add to the magic of this special place.
